  • Thank you for doing this video. You'll save lots of lives.

  • i've been taking yaz since i was 16 (now almost 20) and i haven't had any issues. it really scares me though that news stories are still coming out about it though and the dangerous side effects.

  • @toriisthenewcancer Get off of it. Trust me.

  • I'm an MD, and from my experience I noticed that Yaz, Yasmin or Ocella, are dangerous. Check out this site here: xanaxshop.info

  • ЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЗЗЗЗЗЗЗЗЗЗЗЬЬЬЬЬЬЬЬЬ!

  • I didn't know about ANY of the side effects, I could have read but I was a young teenager and didn't 'like' reading at that time... And I got depression and other side effects so its NOT ALL IN THE HEAD- God Bless!

  • In short, if the girl doen't know about the ''depression" side effect of the pill, she wouldn't feel depressed.

  • Listening and reading all these comments about yasmin's bad effects makes me depressed. I've been using yasmin for a year now and I'm totally fine and healthy and acne free! Some girls, especially teens, who are taking yasmin and are aware of the ''depression'' side effect go rebellious since they think about it. It's like psychological. Girls are like, "oh, I've been taking the pill, I now have a reason to feel sad and angry and depressed."

  • omg..im so scared...ive just been prescribed yaz today and i dont know what to do....:(

  • @JennayRae Throw it away.

  • @JennayRae Get off it.

  • Diane 35 has that active ingerdient, they all do, thats the estrogen - -

  • It's been since Feb 1st since my daughter went off Yazmin and she is still having issues. Feeling depressed , tired & crying. she says she doesn't feel herself. She feels like she is going crazy. She is only 12! This all started when she went on it. She was on the orcela made her feel odd so we tried Yaz not knowing all this so Sept - Feb on YAZ. She had terrible cycles heavy periods painfull so it was our last resort & now that decision has turned out to be a nightmare!

  • i would rather get blood clots then get pregnant

  • @BellHavens Not if it almost killed you, you wouldn't.

  • @BellHavens thats fucking stupid, there are more ways to not get preganant like getting the coil, so why would you go on the pill if it could kill you just so you wouldnt get preggers?

  • @BellHavens What A Dumb Fuck You are.

  • @BellHavens :O That was a joke right? Blood clots more than often kill you. A baby however does not. Get your priorities straight girl! I'd rather never have sex again that get a blood clot!

  • @BellHavens ahahaha is that a blonde joke

  • @BellHavens Check out a video called NUVA RING could cause death. She has the pics of what she went through with blood clots. Unbelievable.

  • The generic form Ocella doesn't even match the brand name Yasmin. It only has i think in common w it the bad hormone that is screwing people up. But thats a bad one as well so we unfortunalty also had to find out the hard way with my 12 yr old daughter. Im very upset over this.

  • @PROFILESophiaYates You could stop putting your 12 year old on birth control, maybe that would help. Unless she's promiscuous, it's obviously doing more harm than good.

  • @Bardlettt My daughter is no longer on BC & it was a last resort that unfortunately was the wrong idea which caused her a grt deal of harm. I am someone who is very against medicating a child but she had severe bleeding & pain we did this to regulate her. She is not promiscuous. Thank U 4 your comment of concern.

  • i've only just been prescribed this pill.

i won't be taking it now.

  • omg i just got some yaz and havent started it yet and this scares the crap out of me .... :(

  • I took yaz for two and a half years. I had countless UTIS, and a lump in my boob(which turned out to be noncancerous, thankfully), insane weight gain, and a sinus infections and I'm the type of person who never got sick. I came off of it in july, and since then i've felt just as terrible as I did on the pill. They don't warn you about what happens when you come off, and I think they should considering there is a diuretic in these pills.

  • Comment removed

  • I've been taking Ocella for the past few years but the only side effects I get is headaches, and bad menstral cramps and my blood pressure was too high but now it's normal and I don't know if the high blood pressure is from the birth control and I never gotten pregnant from them thank goodness

  • supposedly they came out with a newer birth control so idk if its better then the old one.

  • Oh and my friend was put on Yasmin to control her menstrual cramping, to regulate her period, and because her hormones were off (getting more testosterone...) will that hurt her in any way, shape, and or form?! I'm worried! Please help me!!!!

  • @NarutoMangaFans1213

its not necessarily yaz or yasmin, every birth control pill comes with side effects and risks, some people may experience them and some people may not, it all depends on how your body functions, my stepmom has been on yaz for over a year, shes lost 40 pounds because it controls her anxiety tht makes her eat more, and her skin is great.

  • My older friend takes Yasmin... What about the new Yasmin? It's in a purple container, and in the container there are like 4 containers containing the pills inside... I'm concerned... Please help! I don't want my friend to die.

  • I'm now 21 years old, but when I was 19 I got a DVT in my leg after taking Yaz for only two months. This is some serious stuff! I strongly advice that anyone considering taking birth control be checked for pre-deposing clotting factors before hand, because with those in combination with the pill can cause clotting. I wish I had been checked, because now it's too late and I'm stuck with a DVT, and chronic swelling (due to unknown clotting disorder and Yaz). not fun.

  • Hi, I know I'm late at commenting but owell lol. I was taking Aviane to control my multiple ovarian cysts. We'll right now as we speak I'm laying in a hospital bed with blood clots in my leg and lung. :( so depressing. As I am 23. And my baby turns to tomorrow. I will be here for 4 more days I believe

  • these stories really scare me. i'm still thinking about taking yaz or yazmin. i've heard a lot of good reviews and hope they have the same effect on me. the problems happened to mostly older woman, and i'm a teenager. so i wonder..

  • OMG, youve scared me shitless. Today my doctor put me on yasmin because its 'safer', than the dianette i was taking. (I've been on dianette for 9 months with no problems) ! My first pill day was today, but f*ck it, im gonna take my dianette like regular tomorrow !!!

  • I just stopped taking Yaz a week ago b/c my friend was so concerned about me. Turns out it may had been the problem causing my depression, anger lashouts, migrains and appendicitis. While I didn't get PG....I don't think it was worth all the pains I went threw...find another birth control....

  • It was my appendix =(

  • i was taking yaz it gave me really bad headaches and my knee has been hurting so bad i stopped taking it friday

  • i am furious!! i have been taking it for a month now and am going through so much pain in the abdomin area!! is it really because of this pill?!!?

  • "We have a pill we created in the lab, it may kill people or randomly ruin lives. How do we sell this? I know. Make an expensive, cool party-scene commercial, and slide in all the death warnings while showing cute girls to distract everyone. Let's name the pill a cool girl's name, too. Like, umm, Yaz. We'll use the millions we make on these pills to pay off the legal settlements from the deaths. It makes financial sense, let's do it."

    That's probably how it went.

  • @clarkvaughan spot on!

  • It makes me so mad they didn't do more testing on this before putting it out on the market. I was put on YAZ Jan of 09 strictly to stop cramps and last Dec I started having issues keeping food down. No one knew what was causing it. I'm actually scheduled to have a sonogram done in about 6hrs to see if it's my gallbladder. What sucks the most is that from what I've found in doing research, only 60% of patients who have their gallbladder removed feel better, the rest stay the same or get worse.

  • @BarbieDollJenn

You were put on Yaz to decrease your menstrual cramps or were you using Yaz to stop frequent cramps that were constant and not relating directly to your periods?

This is disturbing that so many people are having problems with this and other pills. It sorta makes you wonder...

  • @ladyEulaelie Sorry, I just saw your comment in my inbox. I was put on it for menstrual cramps.

Turns out my problems weren't related to Yaz anyways...After a sonogram of my gallbladder, extensive blood work, and a endoscopy my doctors realized that my medication for my bipolar disorder was not lined up correctly. STILL, I will not use a birth control that Bayer touches. My doctor told me a couple months ago that she has pulled everyone of her patients off of Yaz, Yasmin, and Ocella.

  • @BarbieDollJenn

I totally feel your pain!! I have terrible menstrual cramps. I used to take anything I could get my hands on...usually Advil. 1 day I decided to go pill free. My period had rolled around and I was absolutely miserable! My thighs, mid & lower back and stomach were on fire. I discovered some women saying exercise had reduced their cramps to 0 and some never had cramps b/c they exercise regularly. I pop in an Abs dvd...works faster and longer than any pill I've ever taken.

  • this is crazy.....my girlfriend just started taking this

  • i am in the same situation as you, we seem to have alot in common. i was taking ocella and i had to have surgey on my kidneys and i am currently pregnant and i have a blood clot in my uterus. i was just wondering how your lawsuit was coming along

  • Doses of ethinylestradiol at or below 30 mcg (Yasmin, Yaz and Yasminelle) may provide some crypto abortions because ovulation is not completely blocked and in case of conception, the embryo is removed from the pill itself without the woman noticing.

  • A year ago I used to take YAZ and it also gave me complications, I thought it was just my own problems. But my gallbladder started to have problems, I had to have it removed because it had stones. Had it removed on Halloween 2008. After it was taken out, I went off a few meds, and I have been better ever since. I think I will get a lawyer for this.

  • galstones can be removed from gal bladder with simple "gal bladder cleanse" which i have tried and I have pictures of hundreds of expelled stones, some 20 or so from the first cleanse were 1 inch in diameter. Subsequent cleanses, stones were much smaller.

The gal bladder can function with stones for a long time. They are not true stones until they become calcified and dangerously so in the kidney. I know not to have surgery because my mother had hers removed... there was no benefit.

  • it's called ocella

  • I know, I looked it up and added it as a note :)

  • And when I say "had" I mean they are still there and I may have to take blood thinners for the rest of my life:( This only happened 4 weeks ago!

  • My sister is complaining about leg pains (possible DVT). I researched and think after she stops the Yaz, she should supplement her nutrition with cayenne pepper extract, hawthorne berries, and ginkgo biloba. If you research these, i think you will be pleasantly surprised by the benefits.

  • Yaz gave me a stroke. I went to the emergency after having a head ache for 3 days and then all of a sudden not being able to read or think of the words I wanted to say. I had 3 blood clots in my brain and almost died.

  • That's really scary :(

  • I know!

  • @clubmix666 glad you're doing ok. i recently just made a video about this and will be posting it in my channel so others are informed and stay away from these drugs

  • @clubmix666 I hope you're better now.

  • I taked the yaz but was not for a birth control because have a low amount of hormones but it's great to fix the period and 2 months using it reminds me that everything has worked their risk and not everyone reacts the same.

  • you should have said the exact time the loud noise came because I think I almost had a heart attack
