My son is 17 and he needs this surgery...he can barely walk after being on his feet 8 hours at work standing/walking. His feet are flat and his ankles are crooked.

I am going to have this surgery done on July 8th 2011. Thanks for the excellent video of the surgery. But I was wondering, when you cut the skin- why doesn't the foot bleed. If I prick my finger, I bleed. Why the difference?
