When I was about 9, I was biking down a hill with a tree at the bottom, This was a pretty steep hill and me, being a very smart 9 year old, decided to go down without a helmet. Needless to say, my head hit a tree branch and I was launched backwards while my bike continued and hit someone's house. Hello concussion :P

Funny story. I had a similar thing happen to me when I was 9. Was biking up a thin piece of board lying on some stairs. Didn't have enough speed, didn't pick up the handle bars. Head hit the bike bars. Fortunately for me, there was no memory loss. Just remember my head hurting real bad.

the whole repeating thing happened to me too. but instead of saying "i hit my head really hard" i kept asking "What happened to your head?" because the guy i collided with had a huge gash on his forehead and was helping me to the washroom so i could washaway the blood from my mouth and nose. he was really freaked out lol

I've had a concussion and almost another one last year. When I was little, I had a seizure then a concussion from the seizure. I fell out of a chair onto my head thus, concussion. The almost concussion I got last year was caused by my mom closing the big swinging door on the back of our Honda onto my head...

I had a concussion once.

2nd grade, I was running across the blacktop and WHAM! This hard, yellow ball smacked me in the side of the head. I fell over and smacked my head on the ground and passed out for a second.

Then later, I threw up all over my aunt while she was trying to get a barf bag open at the walk-in. GREAT. :)

this girl i know had almost the same thing happen. She was playing field hockey and some girl just charged right into her and she was hit in the head and fell flat on her back and hit her head again. This was monday after school and the friday before that we had our school dance and she couldnt remember it. She said she didnt even remember the game. and it was kinda scary becuase when she did come backj to school she seemed like a different person, meaner. I dont know if shell ever be the same.

In 7th grade we were playing capture the flag in gym and this one kid just plowed right into me and I can't remember a single thing from when I was standing there until I was in the nurses office. And it is really weird not to be able to remember that sort of thing. Mine wasn't as severe as yours though. I didn't have to be in the hospital or anything.

wow thats pretty scary. my boss Helen told when she was younger(probably round 8 as well) she was sittin in class next to this other girl who looked as though she was gonna faint. Helens asked her if she was feeling ok and the girl replies, "I'm not feeling too good, I think I'm dying." Helen then trys to get the teachers attention while the girl then hits her head on the desk. turns out the girls brother hit her in the head that morning with a hammer. the girl left in an ambulance.she died.=(
