I saw these guys in the mid-90s at a small bar in Iowa. I was standing about 6 feet away for the stage. Awesome show except they only played 4 songs. Someone in the band got pissed off about people being noisy in the bar and they stopped playing. Then they went to the bar and started drinking.

The way the video's edited really captures the feel of the music - that sort of nervous energy, passion about to boil over, schizophrenic(?) un-still balladry Berne so excels at. The way things never quite get in focus, keep shifting - attention is never fixed - textural density (yet clarity at the same time - Berne plays in a very strong, linear way).
