Well who do you think played in the first place in order to cut the piano roll? Of course, a pianist. George Gershwin made many piano rolls like this one during the 1920's.

Yeah, the sheet music states that a foot should be stomped in time, if I recall correctly. Kind of hard for a piano roll to replicate that though.

Anyway, one of the best pieces of music by Joplin, or anyone for that matter.

I wasn't asking for it. I got a book of all of scott joplin's rags. I had already been working on the maple leaf rag for a few months.

@Ragtime44Films Go to imslp.org. Look up "Joplin" and press the "Composer" button. Click the first link. This will show a lot of Joplin's ragtimes. The IMSLP do TONS of public-domain music, and all of Joplin's music is PD.
