That would have been really unnerving to get caught out in, especially if you hadn't been at Panar Laban when it happened. Great video! I got caught out on the Jungfraujoch in Switzerland years ago - the bucolic little stream we had wandered past on the way up had turning into a roaring, thrashing brown cataract with entire trees being thrown around in it like twigs. The ground shook with the force of this water. Really scary.
@AeroxRacing225 i totally think it's worth it! It's amazing to be so far above the clouds.. And now on the way down the price includes "via ferrata" italian for Iron Road, which means you climb like 1 km or so with climbing gear. i payd 1000 ringit for the whole trip, all included, quite alot but worth it :)
I did the climb back 10 years ago, the same weather happened then. We needed to use rope to get through the rivers. Most amazing experience of my life.
that was freakingly scary...i climbed Mt Kinabalu last year and although it was raining, it was not this bad....hope all those people who were descending the mountain managed to get down safely....

I just back from mt kinabalu , we hit the top at 6am, it was great view , luckly the weather was fine on 17 april 2008.
