  • Nice PC and video!

  • great video

  • Actually, the flood was in Thailand, not Taiwan.

  • I liked this video I didnt get to see your cute little face in it that was a bummer!!

  • the bios is the same as my eee pc 900ha

  • Not trying to be offensive but "1GB nVidia graphics card" is not alot of info, it could be something crappy like a 1GB 8400gs, or it could be something that can game at 1080p and high-ultra video settings like a 1GB GTX 560 ti.

Is it a Athlon II X2 (dual core), a Athlon II X3 (tri core), Athlon II X4 (beside 631, quad core) or a Athlon II X4 631 (quad core on FM1 socket instead of AM3)?

Oh btw that "apple monitor" port is called a DisplayPort.

  • i have the same wireless adapter! is it WG111?

  • @Polygon6789 it is

  • do you think you could upload a video of doom on one of your packard bells?

  • Wonder why they would put an Apple Macintosh monitor conection on a PC.

  • F*Ck all them haters

Billy your the shit don't listen to them idiots

  • OMG! I've got almost exacly the same DVD-RW drive in my Desktop >_< AND I have the same WiFi adapter

  • The "Apple Macintosh port" is actually DisplayPort. It's essentially a cross between HDMI and DVI.

  • @jdomenech1986 OMG thank-you someone who explained it in simple terms ;P

  • I Like that case! Iwhat is it i want it!

  • I't be cool if you could stuff a modern day PC into a case from a dead packard bell, If you were robbed they'd steal everything but the computer, lol.

  • Hi Billy, cool new video. When are you going to make another retro gaming video? I'd so love to see you load up Total Annihilation or Homeworld on one of your Packard Bell computers. That would take me waaaayy back.

And don't worry about trolls. Keep making your videos. I get a serious case of nostalgia when I watch them.

  • Hey Billy the external rear I/O port you were talking about being an apple macintosh display. It's actually a DisplayPort. It's designed to replace the DVI and VGA ports on on-board and video cards in the future. Works like HDMI but it's not as popular with consumers as HDMI is. Also you can use a normal sata port on your motherboard to use your front esata port on your computer case. Nice build by the way!

  • AMD! :) Nice!

  • is it another packard bell

  • 8 GB's of Ram Great work Billy , I like it :) QC

  • Nice build Billy! It's lucky that you have two PCI slots. Computers seem to be phasing that out these days. Luckily here, hard drives have stayed the same price. Higher than USA had before the flood, but lower than what the USA is charging now. I can't believe that on your motherboard! That's VGA, DVI, DisplayPort, and HDMI! That's incredible! Which onboard video is that? Is it decent? I had a Dell LCD monitor like that, a 15 incher, but I sold it for $20. The color was so crisp on it!

  • @talldude123 I forget the exact model, but it's NVIDIA graphics with 256MB of memory. For what it is, the graphics performance is perfect (I don't have any modern computer games). This monitor came with my original Dell Dimension 2350 I bought in 2003. Don't have the computer anymore, but I kept the monitor. Glad I did!

  • @Roadgeek I actually commented too fast! I saw later on in the video that is was an NVidia 9300 (GT?). Either way for onboard, it looks like a decent card. Modern onboard cards seem to be pretty good. My Dad just bought an Acer with Intel G45 onboard graphics, has all the same ports yours has, and it plays games very well at 1080p, which is a surprise!

  • @Roadgeek but you now got a 20" Hp :D Monitor

  • @roadgeek that is one respectable computer! It reminds me of The Beast! I want a computer like that back again! I miss having Windows machines lol

  • Wow @roadgeek my 2007 custom built, a.k.a. "The Beast" had an MSI P6N SLi 650i nForce and it's a fantastic board!. Your mainboard had a similar model name to mine, and I too have that NetGear Wi-Fi adaptor!

  • Sorry I know that was 'blinded-with-science-y'

  • @OldTimeForties it could be one of two things. The LED Light may have broken, or it could have unplugged itsel. Don't worry though as it will not affect the intrinsic workings of your computer. However to see if it is unplugged, open up your computer and check to see if a lead with a small plug labelled HD LED or HDD LED has came loose. If it has, pop it over the pins on the motherboard which will be labelled something similar.

  • Nice:D

  • NiZe!

  • But I think you forgot to put comment moderation on this video. Just reminding you.

  • @funandthegamemaster That's because the video uploaded while I wasn't at home. It's enabled now.

  • nice video! personally, i'm not a fan of amd, and have had some bad asus boards too - however, even though I would have kept the intel over the amd platform, you have 2 nice machines! I use a gigabyte board with a q8300 and it's giving me no reason to upgrade.

  • @ashleycox432 I do prefer Intel, but I was on a budget and the AMD was a better price. And it's still an improvement over what I had before (which is now in the computer in this video).

  • Awesome! I love it!

  • Would you happen to help me? My hard drive indicator light has stopped working suddenly and I don't have the faintest clue why. I haven't even been inside my computer, so it could have come unplugged. Another question, what do you use to edit your videos with? Right now I use Movie Maker, but it really isn't the best. ;)

  • @OldTimeForties Like Blueplanet64 mentioned, the LED light may have bit the dust. I do think, however, they're cheap and easy to replace.

  • @Roadgeek Thanks for clearing it up. It's quite strange, sometimes it'll works, sometimes it won't. Oh well ;)
