I too am learning, and learn something new every day I practice. You must first soak the ink stick in a drop or two of water then gently rub the the middle of your ink stone, not hard or you damage the stone. the ink and brush work better with thicker ink. You must rub the ink stone for a longer time to get a thicker ink, you may then thin it with water for lighter tones. The ink brush dances up and down and around as you do the writing.

You shouldn't waste your time looking for people to make what you think are mistakes. This kid is actually trying to do something he isn't familiar with, admitting several times in this video alone that he's fumbling around.
