The internal progressive variations of tempo done WITHIN each meter (starting at 1:10) by Tsomidis are known as "Hyposkazon chronos" (best translated as "limping" or "hesitant" or "halting a litte") and, to my knowledge, exist in NO other musical culture Occidental and Oriental alike.
In this piece, the brass part sounds good according to occidental standards, but "boring" according to Greek standards, BECAUSE of lack of "chronos alternation" using "hyposkazon" = known ever since ANTIQUITY!
