I've been trying with all my forces to like this band, for like fou years. I love symphonic & power metal: Nightwish, Epica, & Sonata Arctica, but I cannot stand Within Temptation. I don't know if it's her voice or the guitars that annoy me to unthinkable extremes. But you guys are the Within Temptation verterans and experts! Everyone talks so good about this band, that I would like to receive a couple of song recommendations from you guys. Maybe only you can make me like them?

@evanescence9314 Sometimes you need to look past the loud choruses and repetitve verses to see the beauty in some of their lyrics and sheer power in their messages- Sparkling Angel is a good choice to see the powerful storyline behind it- what I like about this band is the fact you can come up with your own ideas behind the vagueness of the lyrics.

I grew up listening to rock and metal from my dad's influence. But I also loved listening to orchestra music. I played the violin for years and I never thought of combining these two very different types of music till I was introduced to this kind of Symphonic Metal. Which is also a very good name for it.
