yes it sounds like a 12 string but you have to look realy close to see the other 6 bridge pins in the video. I have a 1964 guild FII2 String made of mahagony that i am converting to a six string for celtic fingerstyle.I think that it is the smallest body guild that they ever made.I have a 1973 guild F40 arched back grand concert style maple guitar. The lower bout is smaller than thier jumbo styles.Iam the second owner and it is in mint condition, but i like my guild D 30 A sunburst the best.
haha yup...my bad this is a 12 string. I left that comment about it being a 6 string like a year ago lol..didnt look at the bridge or the video for that long either :(
@chrismortloch92 It was a rash comment i made like 3 years ago...Why the fuck are you commenting on it now? Specially when the comment received too many negative votes AND i mentioned before i was wrong...,.
well every brand has it's top line doesn't it? check out the $25,000 Gibson Monarch. Check out the $5,000 Taylor's and of course the martins. I love the jumbo bodies, specially 12 string. Never played a Martin or a GIBSON! haha but Gibson craftmanship is unparalaled I'm sure.
I have actually tried it along side with a friend and i at a local music shop. They had guild 12 strings and top of the line gibson/ibananez 12 strings nand taylors. we both like the guild way better, we tuned them the same and when played alongside eachother we both agreed guild won. At least in the 12string category. we didnt really test 6 strings
I really didn't knoe there were Ibanez's top of the line when it came to 12 strings... I know only ONE model and it's about $299! for 12 strings the best I've seen is either a gibson Pre War at around $4888 and a a taylor KOA for around $5000
Great sound, even over web--at least I got good speakers here! Martins are fine guitars--the Guild has a fuller, richer low end and a more complex mid-range. The Martins really excel on the high end--in my not so humble opinion (!). Just depends on what you want to do with it. Guilds are suburb guitars! I've had a D-25 6 string for 30+ years and it sings like a bell. The older it gets and the more I play it, the better it sounds--a true sign of a great guitar.
Man what a sound. That is without a doubt the best sounding acoustic 12 I've ever heard. What does one of these babies cost?

I love guild 12 strings.
Im thinking of putting one in layaway tommorow.
I could just buy it outright, but that would put me in a bit of a spot for a month or so. Dont really want that to happen, heh.
I love guild 12 strings *swoon*
