  • Brilliant lyrics......Brilliant music.....Brilliant voices.....Brilliant!

  • Deacon Blue were, and are, very talented musicians and songwriters and this is one of the songs that does justice to all off those talents involved. It just brings out the best of all of them. The sheer joy of playing a good song shines through here. Tastes may differ but if you know how hard it is to write a good song you'll agree this is a masterpiece with excellent production as well. Classic.

  • Spot on, this album (Fellow Hoodlums) from where this song was taken was their best by far. The orchestration/arrangements are superb. I haven't heard this song for ages and I think it's aged extremely well... I also love the lyrics that mention Glaswegian stuff too! Went to Glasgow Uni and brings back happy memories!!
