That's lovely. I am from a Franciscan parish and we celebrate the transidus of Saint Francis on 3rd October, his feast day on the 4th and have our pets blessed on the Sunday after. My cat has been very sick and began to recover after his blessing.

I'm glad you like the video and am glad your cat is doing better. We enjoy going to the Blessing of the Animals each year while on vacation and sometimes are lucky enough to get to the Blessing at our own parish when we get home. This year the dates were not in our favor.
When we adopted Rascal we discovered she was congenitally deaf, but she gets along fine, probably because she doesn't know the difference.
