Ron Paul has garnered support from all over the world. That the BBC would have no mention of him is disgraceful, they had a tonne of features on a man who got elected only because he's black. But the BBC work for the government so whadda you expect? They prefer the status quo as it gives them something to do.
BBC report on the night of the IOWA caucuses had a small segment on Ron Paul, concluding that "he will never be president". That's not biased at all is it, BBC.
How about this? I just saw where Ron Paul got SECOND in the recent 2011 Straw Poll and the BBC hasn't mentioned him at all! As funny as it may sound to the BBC Ron Paul really IS a favorite candidate among Americans. I'm an American, and I am voting for Ron Paul. He is the only man for the job. I should have wrote him in on the last ballot, as I REALLY wanted to vote for him, but I was scared McCain would have won. Lesser of two evils I guess. Ron Paul is the man!
I have came to this conclusion to,how did they know that wtc 7 was going to colapse half an hour before it did on 9/11 ?.there news is pure shite they talk about nonsense and people have to pay for this crap.sorry its made me very angry writing this.
I agree. I have BBC News 24 on most of the time in the background and there's NOTHING on the TV or the website.
Big money is pushing him out again - they want no support for someone that would upset a cash cow.
BBC is not unbiased - it is under the same control as all the other stations.
If you are unhappy with a service you take your business elsewhere. In the UK you have no choice as you must pay a fee to the BBC, a tax basically. Don't watch the BBC? Tough! Pay us our money. BBC is a joke.
Corporate (and state controlled BBC) media filter the candidates and the Diebold electronic voting machines ensure public disaffection with the agenda doesn't show up in the ballot boxes.
This morning it was even more blatant. We're told that interest in this election has been massively energised by an influx of younger politically motivated people whose key issues are military withdrawal from Iraq and selecting a president on merit above any other consideration. Yet somehow neither the BBC nor any of their vox pops mention the only candidate who voted against the war and has promised immediate troop withdrawal.
As an insomniac I listen most of the night to BBC World Service. For the first time last night I heard them drop Ron Paul's name (once) in reference to the remaining candidates. They assiduously refused to tell us anything about him or his poll results.
Just listened to Question Time - much "debate" about who's the best, oldest, blackest, most revolutionary etc. No mention of Ron Paul as usual. The BBC continues to uphold the corporate agenda at the expense of open, objective broadcasting.
Everyone knows that the federal government is an inefficient nightmare. But does anyone really care?We have been conditioned since childhood that while the federal government is a bureaucratic disaster, there's nothing we can do about it. It will always be this way.
The truth is that we know this is not the way it is supposed to be. This is not the government our ancestors died to GIVE US. kill the NEW ROMAN EMPIRE...VOTE FOR RON PAUL..THE NEW DAY GLADIATOR OF 2008
Our masters want us Europeans to notice we are under as corrupt a government as the in US. Did you notice the news about Blairs $2millon PA job with JP Morgan. They are also covering up the truth about the EU dictatorship we will wake up in 2009 Google "Common Purpose"
Couldn't be just coincidence, could it? The BBC? Their influence is far too great- most europeans speak the crap fed to them by BBC. The euro-world-domination-wannabee crowd has no interest in America being what it can and should be. It would interfere with their long-term plans.
It is so nice to hear an Englishman speak of the New Hampshire primary election with interest in the importance of it and the other primary's that will follow. I almost feel as if there is one big business that is controlling our media and is just being exposed by exposing itself against Ron Paul. I will not turn on CNN or FOX news stations now that I see how partisan they are. I just came across the BBC news on our local public station and thought I might watch that. Fat chance now!
SPEAK UP! Ron Paul supporters, we need to get the word out. Send the following video links to all whom you know, voters or not, it's important.
1)Watch it from 2:23 on. It is entitled: 9. From Freedom to Fascism (part 9 of 11)
2)Uploaded by riffjiff. It is entitled: Is this Fraud??
It needs to get out to all citizens of this country! Voter fraud confirmed in NH.Hand counted paper ballots are the only way! We expect fairness for all candidates no matter what the outcome!
Those of us who take the lessons of history to heart have seen a great deal of activity in the States that chillingly reminds us of the fledgling Nazi party, but taken to an overwhelming degree. Our voices are stifled, our votes are skewed. If anyone in the UK has relatives or friends in the US, please encourage them to stop the use of computerized voting machines. It isn't democracy.
well eyupwolf your right and it's not just the bbc, this whole election is corrupt and a farce,,the US government ,big business and the media don't want him in because he would expose whats really going on ,,
I have asked the BBC why they are not reporting on Ron Paul. Guess what? No answer. The BBC has been shit for a long time. The BBC cannot be trusted and should not be trusted. It's a propaganda machine for the ruling elite. The BBC is pro Zionist and pro One world government. The BBC is a corporate controlled bitch.
I sent a complaint to the bbc and they sent me back a reply basically saying that they can't report on every candidate. "Senior editorial staff, the Board of Management and the BBC Trust keep a close watch on programmes to ensure that standards of impartiality are maintained." -Quote from bbc reply. I think this shows who controls the bbc.
I haven't heard anything from them myself. My reply to that would be. Then why do you have a profile on Fred Thomson, but not Ron Paul? It can't be that hard to have a profile page. Your right, it just worries me if that's the case because the BBC is worshipped over here for news.
ron paul is talking about the fraud of income tax and the fractional reserve system...
The money changers are centred in London...the thieves in the TEMPLE
if the british subjects had the chance to listen to how income tax is just the intereet on an unnecessary public debt thrust upon them by the city bankers ... they would be educated
BBC has programs to program people not to educate... it's all programs ...coded hidden instructions to mind numb us
The UK seems worse of as a police state, especialy central london, with cameras everywhere... I bet they even have cameras watching you taking a shit in that place.
Holy crap, they just set up a terrorist attack, and off we go... everybody is a potential enemy.
"British Bull**** Corp. We give you the unbiased, totally public service, from your public corporation that you pay for... HOW CAN YOU NOT F*ING TRUST US? SLAVE, BURN, BREAK YOUR BONES TO THOUSANDS OF PIECES, KILL KIDS WORLDWIDE, POLUTE THEIR LAND WITH TERRIBLE POISONS... THAY HAVE WMD, THEY ARE GOING TO BOMB YOU!"
They go about it very cleverly, and only cut out the information that is sensitive to the very pillars of neoliberal interests (ie. full powers to private corporations). They will play the independent part in the show, look like the good element that always tells the whole truth, but will attempt to manipulate opinion in a sly manner.
"Whilst it is certainly true that the BBC is not subject to precisely the same constraints as a private corporation the absence of such constraints on their own should not lead us to perceive it as being "free". Few would be impressed if a commentator were to explain that the North Korean media was "free" because they are not subject to commercial pressures unlike their North American counterparts for instance."
eyupwolf i fully agree with you, there was one thing wednesday lunch time the reporter said the republicans have 5 cancidates with a realistic chance, i wonder if he was refering to Ron Paul. i can only hope so but as you say there was no mention to his name. i think they are involved with the Ron Paul black out. they share reports with CNN so that could be part of it.
Not surprised. I'm a US citizen living in Aussieland at the moment and I don't see any RP in the papers. If you google his name and specifiy "Australian sites", the *news* is about his "fake online campaign". And oh, watch the clip in my favourites about the BBC. Cheers :)
Ron Paul is defending the against the Globalist Agenda and the NAU. Have you noticed that you are now in a police state like the USA, it that Gordon Brown sold half our gold, and we have a property bubble like the US, it is to crash the Pound and force us into the Euro. We are in the same mess as the USA, its just more subtle. EU = Police State
There is no conspiracy they are owned by people who are protecting their interests there is nothing wrong with that. With today's internet we now have a chance to find out what is really going on until they regulate it.
I'm sure the owners of BBC have just as much financial interest in the outcome of the election as the american channels do. We live in a global society now and these big corporations aren't loyal to any one country. They're only concern is that the rules of the game stay the same so they can keep raking in the money.
Check it out! Vote fraud was committed in New Hampshire! One small county recorded that no votes came in for Dr. Ron Paul yet at least 3 people stood forth that they voted for Ron Paul from that county! Check it out! The hand counted votes showed much more support for Ron Paul then the machine counted votes! He wasn't first, but he did much better!
