  • what are the chords? and is that tuned different or something i cant here it that well its real bassy

  • @wammybarsolo21 The tuning is supposed to be d g b e but I may have been out of tune. Other than the first chord, C...I don't know the names of the chords. Nothing compicated though.

  • Beautifully done, Ed. (Was it written in1924?)

  • i wished you were louder in the vocal, i have looked at many versions of this song, and man you're the only who plays it correct, with the mood of the era, so many folksy versions bah

  • Thanks very much. My singing is not the best I have usually played this song on the banjo in pick-up bands and I never had to sing it. Any how...point well taken and I will remember that. I am happy that you liked my version. Thanks for the comment. Ed

  • Music by Dave Bennett!? is he the father to Tony Bennett?

  • Probably not. This song goes back before Tony or I were born. And, besides, Tony Bennett is Anthony Dominick Benedetto from Astoria, NY.

  • Ok . thanks, the name is all about everything i know about tony bennet anyway hehe:D just got curious :)
