  • From the mouth of someone who have met her before, she is from Roi Et ( Hoi Et ) and the dialect of this song is Luang Prabang Lao.

  • I retract most my statement , i was goin on wut sum old people were sayin. LOl . But she was northern born i heard despite her roots.

  • really I didn't know she was chinese thai. Her issan is perfect..well sung that is and she sings in issan a lot. Are you sure? well it's not that hard anyways to speak issan, if most thais tried they'll learn it quick enough, like me:)

  • Orawee is not from lanna or from the north east she even said it in her interview. She said this album he had to sing alot of Isan language it was hard for her to sing. Took her 3 months to record this album. She is Thai chinese. Her mom chinese her dad is Thai. She is now a widow.

  • Well i understand , not onlee cause my family is widespread , but we span between Lanna/Kham Muang , Eesarn, and Laos. She is frum more northern like Lanna but roots Eesarn also.
