@cnrail16 This is C.N. Here's The Deal Here..... From Kamloops To Mission/Abbotsford CN and CP have directional running basicly to allow trains to move faster all Eastbounds Run on the CP and Westbounds on The CN The Coquilam/ Port Of Vancouver Bound Trains Cross over to the Cascades Sub on the Mission Bridge While Surrey (Thornton) And North Shore Bound Trains Stay on the Yale Sub. The Eastbound trains also cross over the Mission Bridge to head east on the Cascades sub. Continued on Next Post
@cnrail16 In this Shot which is west of the Mission Bridge This CP Coal train is coming from Roberts Bank which Joins the Yale sub about 4 miles west of this position. Here you see CP and CN Coal and Intermodel Trains operating over these tracks. as well as the odd CP Thornton or North Shore Bound train. Basiclly out here any company will operate any train on any piece of track. as matter of fact from here that train has been on 2 other company's track already (BCR Port Sub and CP Page Sub)
@wheels069 It is imperative that CN and CP operate on their own railway lines. I see that this must be a contract signing operation allowance to have the two federal railways operating on the same line.
Who owns the railway line? Usually CN and CP operate on their own separate lines.

@cnrail16 I hope this helps

@wheels069 That can't be possible. Two railway corporations cannot own the same railway line. Can you help me out here in understanding this?

@cnrail16 Sorry This line is owned by the C.N. (The CN Yale Sub.)

@wheels069 Then how come that CP Rail coal train was operating on CN Rail's railway line?
cnrail16 6 months ago
@cnrail16 Because the only way to get from Roberts Bank to the CP Cascades Sub. Is along the CN Yale Sub
