I saw a mysterious black dog resting on my back patio years ago. I was frightened!! It was like a very large rottie (the frightening aspect) and mysterious in that it never even looked at me. After a couple of hours I took it water which it ignored and still wouldn't look at me. Late afternoon it just got up and wandered off.

I was haunted by my own black demon dog as a child and young adult I had several sightings of the thing from some of my first memories I always sensed it was evil and menacing and it terrified me I stopped seeing it around the age of 23yrs old my oldest child was around 5yrs old my middle child 3yrs old they came running from there room screaming about a mean dog in their room it was shortly after I stopped seeing it so it freaks me out that it may be haunting my kids

Most legends I've heard say that the few people who see it,it usual means a bad omen,that they or a relative will die of illness. Very interesting...I have a friend who lives in East Anglia, Bungay, to be exact and this gives this more fascination to me...reminds me of "The Hound of The Baskervilles" a Sir Arthur Conan Doyle novel with Mr. Sherlock Holmes investigating a phantom hound who turned out to be a large dog someone was using to frighten the heir to an estate into leaving....perfect time of year for this...oooooo...cool
