LMAO I tried the Final Fantasy Crystal Barers on the Wii and HECK I thought it'd be worth my money and it ended up like thousands of mini games put into one. The best fighting parts were all audo so i didn't do ANYTHING! rip off...I guess ur right on that one.
That's awesome at 3:20 when he ditches that creature like a pimp "bitch I don't need you!!" *he jumps off*"aww!!". The concept of controlling enemies is old and the fact that you have to rescue some chick is border line cliche. I mean he should pound Zelda's cakes instead. Furthermore, this boss battle is what I like to call a "Disneyland ride enemy" as it chills in the background while it attacks like Skorm from Gauntlet, But I like the scythe and kill factor (GOW style). I might get this.

not at all, if u play or look closely at the video with small enemies you can kill them like that, but with big enemies in order to progress you have to press triangle or square etc. at the right moment look at 1;30

Yea the styles are similar, but if you think about it, both GOW and this game go hand in hand. Both play off of mythology, and because of that, they are both able to be highly creative action games, both played in the same manner. This game seems a lil bit more epic though [thought I'd never say that]
My opinion is that it's extremely hard for them to make an action-adventure game and NOT copy god of war. For example look at Bayonneta, it practically teared Devil May Cry out of its own game and put a new "Bayonetta" skin on it, and if Bayonetta turned out to be great I think Dantes Inferno will too. ^_^ hopefully
It's not "copying" God of War. God of War touched on so many cliche's and themes that most games of the genre are bound to have some of those elements. It' ot trying to copy God of War.
My bad let me restate my words, Dante's Inferno isnt "copying" but simply taking many cues from god of war. However everything that isnt like god of war is so original in my opinion that it easily makes up for any similarities between the two.
Okay do you guys seriously think that they just sat down looked at the GOW 3 footage and said "We need beast ridng!" Seriously it takes a large amount of years to include beast riding in video games cause you have to add a perpose for the beasts to be riddin in the first place. Like scaling giant spire perhaps. Dante's Inferno has all the same control as the God of War series. Its pretty much the same game compared to God of War, but the story is different. So Dante's is like another episode of God of War, but is takes place in the 9 levels of hell. Maybe later on there will be another hack and slash game taking place in some other type of mythical story.
One more thing, God of War has better graphics hands down. And lets stop arguing. Why not buy both and have fun with them.

havent played gow, not bothered either, this looks ok, might get it, might not, as long as its not just "jump, smash, jump smash," etc.. then again, graphics look good.

My opinion is that it's extremely hard for them to make an action-adventure game and NOT copy god of war. For example look at Bayonneta, it practically teared Devil May Cry out of its own game and put a new "Bayonetta" skin on it, and if Bayonetta turned out to be great I think Dantes Inferno will too. ^_^ hopefully

It's not "copying" God of War. God of War touched on so many cliche's and themes that most games of the genre are bound to have some of those elements. It' ot trying to copy God of War.

My bad let me restate my words, Dante's Inferno isnt "copying" but simply taking many cues from god of war. However everything that isnt like god of war is so original in my opinion that it easily makes up for any similarities between the two.

Okay do you guys seriously think that they just sat down looked at the GOW 3 footage and said "We need beast ridng!" Seriously it takes a large amount of years to include beast riding in video games cause you have to add a perpose for the beasts to be riddin in the first place. Like scaling giant spire perhaps. C'mon now this game deserves to have it's own identity but you guys wont let it be independant. Fuckin GOW fanboys. GAH!!

Dante's Inferno has all the same control as the God of War series. Its pretty much the same game compared to God of War, but the story is different. So Dante's is like another episode of God of War, but is takes place in the 9 levels of hell. Maybe later on there will be another hack and slash game taking place in some other type of mythical story.
One more thing, God of War has better graphics hands down. And lets stop arguing. Why not buy both and have fun with them.

yeah its a normal human but he dont want to die because he want go back whit his love beatrice and start over again because in the war the bishop says to all the warriors including him then the bishop absolves them from all the sins they do in war

im assuming dantes inferno has more action than god of war 3, only alittle bit though. but i thnk god of war 3 has more of a storyline.
dantes inferno looks just as good as god of war 3, so just stop arguing who copied what, and just by both. only if you have a ps3 though.. haha!
