sorry for probably asking a dumb question, but i preordered Dark Souls for 360. and I was just wondering if the monsters will respawn if you leave the world then return back to it?
You stopped including scenes with the various people sitting around in the nexus along with you leveling up. That was my favorite part. Now it feels like I'm watching an LP of an action game rather than an adventure / role-playing game.
@Influx27 I stopped those scenes because they weren't saying anything new. After every stage I checked to see what everyone said, and if there was something new then I kept the recording and uploaded it. If there wasn't, I deleted it and moved on.
To the players viewing this.I cant stress enough.Light weapon,magic weapon,turpentine, or fire weapons are god sends here.Use pillars and small obstructions to block the initial shock shot from these squidheads.They will then charge WITHOUT the ability to impale you.Decimate them.Also the Lava Bow makes immensely short work of them.
@solace00assassin I'm not particularly fond of Makoto because the damage is fixed (doesn't scale with stats) and it drains your HP when you have it readied. I forget what level my sword is in this video, but by the end of the game it was only a Sharp Uchigatana +2 (or was it +3?) and a Hiltless +5.
@solace00assassin But the Hiltless can also be upgraded and improves as my stats increase. Also, since the HP drain is based off my max HP, at some point HP Regen items will have difficulty keeping up..
@bigbeautyfull Nope, I'm afraid that's simply not the case. The only items that grant MP regen are Crescent weapons, fragrant ring, and Phosphorescent Pole (and Geri's Stiletto, but that's technically not MP regen). The effect of the coronet is painfully simple to see if you just bother taking it on and off and observing the effect, so I'm not sure how you came to your conclusion.
you should get the makato katana back in world 4-2, with white tendency. It will be a good combo with your shield, because it drains 1hp per sec, due to its high damage and bleed rate. The shield gives 2hp per sec so the effects cancel out leaving you with 1hp regen per second. Or you could simply upgrade the shield
@IthilionTheBrave you get the pureblood demons soul from lady astrea right?? i think the sword might be good for my character right now she has a good amount of luck with the buld im using it focuses in quick powerful strikes shes using a +7 dagger at the moment and shes a thief
@Nintendoblivion I will most likely be using the Binded Cross set, substituting the hands for silver bracelets. Might swap around other gear depending on the situation (for example, I might wear black leather for 5-2 for the poison resist).
I'll probably use Light Weapon, although with my current stats I can use a cracked Talisman of Beasts to cheat the HP drain.
@MrFinalgamer A cracked talisman of beasts, in this case, would be using it to cast Curse Weapon without meeting the stat requirements for the talisman (or catalyst). You still get the 50% damage bonus, but only get 1/HP drained per second rather than 1% per second. Kinda silly that Curse Weapon works that way, isn't it?
It's usually better to keep the cells shut, unless there's treasure inside or they need to be opened otherwise. They stay open even if you leave the level, so it can be a bit annoying to deal with dreglings pouring out of their cells when you're trying to complete a tendency event or grab a missed treasure.
Sounds like one of the prisoners is having a really aggressive wank...

@Nintendoblivion I will most likely be using the Binded Cross set, substituting the hands for silver bracelets. Might swap around other gear depending on the situation (for example, I might wear black leather for 5-2 for the poison resist).
I'll probably use Light Weapon, although with my current stats I can use a cracked Talisman of Beasts to cheat the HP drain.
