Roseanne reminds me of my mommy. She passed away when I was nine years old (I'm 16 now). I can never seem to remember her as much as I want to. But whenever I watch Roseanne it brings back memories. Not of actual moments, but just of how she made me feel. Safe, happy, loved. It makes me miss her, but I'm glad I can at least remember her a little.
anyone notice roseanne is wearing a movado watch at the end when she is writing jackie another letter. I know because I have the same watch! I guess she was making good money as a working class mom! LOL!!!! or she didnt think anyone would notice!
There are actually a lot of guys like Dan but for some reason women are more interested in guys that look good but treats them like crap. Doesn't make much sense to me but Im not a woman so whatever.
@serialnumber411 Security. They want a tough guy which is good but many are stupid and don't put their foot down like Roseanne. And I will never understand why some let guys hit them. If you let a guy do that he will NEVER respect you. I ever did that I would be in Jail and very alone.
@tygersflowerz I enjoyed the lottery parts simply because after watching them struggle for years and years financially and knowing how that feels its fun to watch them get everything they want, but they also showed how the money couldnt buy their happiness like they always thought, it was the love for the family.
Roseanne and Jackie have an excellent relationship. Even though Roseanne is older, in this episode it kinda looks like she's the younger sister, because she is going to miss Jackie for the 6 weeks and Jackie comforts her about it like older sisters usually do.
@Sugarfexx Well my guy isnt either, but he can be a Dan about onse a year, I charish these moments. Onse I felt bad about myself and asked seriously if there's something wrong with me. He replied; 'Well... I like you this way.' Made me LMAO! It makes me think they all have a Dan somewhere in them. You just have to look closely, and remember these remarks forever. Sigh... what a woman has to do...

Hence, the bad men breed, creating more bad men, and the good ones have no offspring to raise correctly. Each generation will get worse until women start making better choices.

wiki says there was talk of a roseanne spinoff that eventually died down, and then a possible return of the show in 09/10. it is such a shame it ended like this.
this is so sad, when you consider what happens in the end. the writers really messed the last series up, and then completely fucked up the ending. why did they do that?
@Constavlos It IS sad, but it's also how life really goes. But I don't believe they ruined the ending, I loved it. Roseanne (the real woman, not the character) is a brilliant artist. She really did a great job "fixing" that crappy lottery season.

well he doesn't actually die -- according to her real life story he did, but not in the show, so that's better I think. They really do make an adorable couple.
@lolorobs8217 are you talking about dan? he did die in the series, she wrote him in the last season as fantasy the last episode they said he had passed from the heart attack as he fades out and isn't at his spot at the table. if youre talking about someone else i apologize im not sure who you were responding to, but the last season was thought up because she didn't know what else to do her husband had died, so she dreamed about having all the money in the world and still having him there
the way Dj say "TO PLAY!!!" is hilarious. It's like he's saying "What the hell do you think I'm going over there for???"
