  • I fell in love with this breed when I was little. It's regal and elegant. I've only ever met one and it was great! I can't wait to rescue one of my own someday :) <3

  • I'm definitely going to get a male doberman and male german shepherd when I get my own house. I love them so much. And also I can never live in fear of someone robbing my house.. xD

  • Very nice video promoting the Doberman Breed. The breed is not what it once was serving the US Marines in WW2. We have about 30 Schutzhund 3 Dobermans titled in the USA. The working Gene pool for this breed has really dropped off. We must work toward preserving this gene pool TO SAVE THE BREED. The German Shepherd has possibly 300 titled

schutzhund 3 in the USA. Once again good job training and working your dog.

  • Excellent dogs they are!!

  • thumbs down for 30 sec advertisement

  • Check out my two videos in this video's video responses!

  • Gorgeous dogs. Just... gorgeous.

  • Thumbs up if you know a doberman and love him/her to bits. :)

  • Make a long story short, after a while of talking, my mother slapping me upside my head for disobeying I got to stay at the horse track. Ironically I spent more times with those dogs then anything else. It's such an unassuming breed, it's a breed you know can kick some big time ass, but never EVER have I met a mean dobby, not even a snarl, just a great Dog.

  • This is over 30 years ago, but I will never forget it. I was 6 years old and was with my Mother at her work which happen to be across the street from a Horse track. I loved animals and not only cross the boulevard, but climbed the fence and fell. The next thing I know 3 dobby's growl and come right at me and stop JUST as I am picking up my head. A women working there had seen me and yelled and they stopped right in front of me. "YOU ARE CRAZY?? YOU ARE LUCKY, WHERE IS YOUR MOTHER!!"

  • i love this breed of dog. so beautiful :)

  • @mrftothek Dobermanns, like the rest of the man stopper breeds, are more socially competitive, defensive, loyal, and obedient than the bully breeds. Dobermanns are more loyal, obedient, agile, alert, quick to respond, and active than Rottweilers.

  • I want to get one of these dogs, But everyone around me tells me they turn on there owners... is this true? I'll probably get it anyway but ..hmm =/

  • @bcount1 It's NOT true! This myth of Dobermanns’ brains outgrowing the size of their skulls arose from a 1970s movie called “They Only Kill Their Masters”. A responsible owner of a well trained, handled, cared for, socialized, and (sometimes) bred Dobermann shouldn’t have any trouble. I've seen around 120 Dobie and have yet to see a well socialized Dobie show aggression towards me. I know and have heard of folks who owned Dobies for their whole lives and haven’t been turned against.

  • @DiamondRavenChannel That's a total relief!!! I can't wait untill I get my new home, so I can buy one of these beautiful dogs.

  • @bcount1 YVW, and what breedr and bloodline are you buying from?

  • @DiamondRavenChannel I don't know yet. I have to wait untill I get settled into my new home.

  • @bcount1 Okay.

  • @RAVENakaR doberman pinschers are american doberman.? I thought all doberman were doberman pinscher, well my doberman is euro so i'm good

  • How muxh exersize do dobermans need?

  • @RockAndRollRockOn They have a moderate to high exercise requirement. A brisk one to two hour walk, along with some running and roughhousing, would be nice. A dog park would also be a good idea because it would not only help in burning energy, but also in socialization.

  • In other words, I'm just trying to say that Dobermanns with a better build, like a Dobie called Texas von Karpatia, and with more working drive, like a Dobie called Bingo von Ellendonk, are a better choice for working as police dogs. But of course, Dobermanns would do a better job in personal protection/property guarding than they do in police work. For police work, one would need a more multipurpose dog. The best all round working dog is the Euro working line GSD.

  • @DiamondRavenChannel Agree, a TRUE working dog comes from THE BEST working lines out there!

  • @MatildaTilden Definitely!

  • I think the cop needs to either be using German Shepherd Dogs from top European working (police) lines, or, if he prefers Dobermanns, he needs to be using well built (not too lightly built, not too heavily built, not disproportionate) European bred Dobermanns from the best working lines. And also, Rommel does not have a good bite, and nor does he have much drive. Not to mention, he also doesn’t have a good built. It's not always true, but Euro Dobies are bred to have more drive and muscl.

  • @DiamondRavenChannel Just so you know, most Americans don't care about this. They just need a Doberman as a pet.

  • @FattyDudley Exactly! But am I trying to stop pet lovers from breeding/owning dogs for pet/show purposes, no.

  • @FattyDudley no wonder ever since i got a german shepherd and my dad got a rottie everyone expected to pet them without asking because in their words "He was just asking me to pet him look at the look he is giving me"... they are still protective breeds and most people here where i live expect all dogs to be friendly because they are used to friendly labs and golden retrievers... not that they cant be aggressive any dog is capable of biting.

  • @1NecroSpawn Hey, what's up! When did you'll get a GSD and Rottie, and what lines are they from?

  • @DiamondRavenChannel HEY! My dad got 2rotties from German Show lines in washington. When he broke up with his gf she took them... He got one at 6 months and i raised him till he was 1 1/2 years old and they got the other one at 8 weeks I raised her to 6 months. I had a my mother had a gsd when i was younger all i remember was playing with him and how loyal he was people would always want to pet him because of his breed or stay far away from him... it was annoying. idk what happend to the gsd

  • @1NecroSpawn Nice! So when are you getting your Beauceron?

  • @DiamondRavenChannel I still want one but i took my name off of the list because i have a lot of things i need to take care of. I would love to get a Beauceron its my favorite breed :) but i need to think harder about the time i get one i thought i would be able to get one on a year and a half wait but i cant :/ i am still looking into German Shepherds but the DDR kind i like the ones from Timberhaus and Schraderhaus I love Lux he is beautiful. Hopefully i done have to wait long to get a dog

  • @1NecroSpawn Okay, and hopefully you'll be buying a hard working dog with high prey/fight drive and overall hardness. By the way, I may upload some new videos of Rustin and more by the end of this month.

  • whats the difference between an american and a european one?

  • @RAVENakaR

    whats the difference

  • My Doberman Babe passed away from diabetes 2 month ago. R.I.P. Babe!

  • my dobie was alot bigger then that...

  • i love the 2:10 part

  • i have a black and tan beautiful european dobie.!!! and im proud!

  • @RAVENakaR Wrong! Dobermanns were given the name Doberman Pinschers, by the fucking Germans after Mr. Dobermann died! Learn your damn facts, or keep your fucking mouth shut!

  • Fucking A! Its a Red not a fawn!

  • @RAVENakaR thanku

  • Ugh, ugly.

  • @RAVENakaR how can you tell one from the other?

  • dogs who come from working lines are going to be, for the most part, better working dogs. Higher trainability, more drive, more athletecism, etc etc. A dude in the trailer park breeding 2 couch potato dobes with hip dysplasia and bad temperments is going to produce shittier dogs.

  • best dog breed ever! hands down

  • Dobermanns rule! Doberman Pinschers rule!

  • @KidzCount2 Dobermanns rule!

  • @KidzCount2 what exactly is the difference?is it that a pinscher has cropped ears and tail?

  • @Sasukeloverliz Dobermanns and Doberman Pinschers are the same breed. It's just that Dobermanns are European, so when the Americans took them to USA, they called them Doberman Pinschers. Another thing is that in America, most were bred out of aggressiveness and more into movie pets or something like that. The ones still in Europe were still bred to be friendly, but still guard dogs.

  • @RAVENakaR You do have a point.

  • @RAVENakaR That's true, unless you train American Dobies to be like Dobermanns as a puppy.

  • @KidzCount2 Or if you breed them together. You could get a Dobermann like Doberman Pinscher

  • @KidzCount2 acually alot of people have mixed the two together. Some of the American dobes can be more agile and quicker. the massive size of some, but not all, of the Euros can take away from stuff like speed and agility. One of my best buds has a nice AKC dobe with alot of Euro influence in his ped. great dog.

  • I really want one. But I know my shih tzu and poodle needs every bit of my attention and care for now. Someday dobie, someday. :)

  • @RAVENakaR Is there a difference?

  • @KidzCount2 no difference. Doby/Doberman/doberman Pincher

  • @RAVENakaR from di Altobello breeder and sometime in the near future

  • @RAVENakaR a show line, but the breeder said that both of their tempermants is pretty sturdy and they have high drive and lots of "protection" tempermant in them :)

i will once i get him

  • @RAVENakaR yayyyy im getting full berd champion line european doberman

he has hugee chest i hope the kids do too

  • @RAVENakaR what makes them better? and how do i get one if i am an american?

  • 14 people regret getting another breed.

  • @OrovilleTim fail!

  • will a puppy chew my fence if i make a little play spot for it if yes what are some ways of stopping it ???

  • cant wait till my 9 week old lickle dobie gets big and bold

  • I like the rust color better. :)

  • Is that pool from Paranormal activity 2?

  • Cropped and docked my dobe and he is beautiful. And American. Learned sit, stay,

lay down and shake in just a couple of hours at about 12 weeks of age. He is now six months old and his protective nature is starting to show itself. Training and owner are the only impoortant things with a dobe. American vs European is an age old debate that will never be won.

  • @mrftothek loool u got to have a strong stomach lool

  • @mrftothek u can crop yr doberman ears yrself depends how old it is has to be relatively young if do some reseach u can do it the european dobermans r far more superior then the american doberman the only thing the american dobes got going is its dock ears and tail . if we had european doberman with crop ears and dock tails it cant be revealed loool

  • @mrftothek lool german produced the oringinal doberman which in my opinion was the best regardless of its agression . believe me in the uk u cant dock the tails or the ears but ppl still do it just a case of u asking the breeder if he willing to do it . cropping ears is kind of tricky only certain ppl knoe how to do it . but type it how to dock a dobermans tail and they show u how to do it

  • music is too loud. Can't hear the guy talking!!! Fix please

  • I love my doberman.

  • Oops....Rommell is NOT fawn-colored (as it says in the video) He is red and rust. But he is still a BEAUTIFUL boy :-) :-)

  • i want a dobe but im torn on whether or not to crop- i hate the idea of inflicting pain but the ears look so gorgeous to me and the best look. if it really is a painless procedure and easy to maintain as people say-i will go with it, if not i wont. but i want honest opinions. i will talk to a vet but can anyone with EXPERIENCE not just a dumb opinion, give me input? preferably a breeder or an owner

  • all though besides for that statement, this vid captured what the true dobe is. although personality shuda been 4 treats! haha

  • guy doesnt know what he is talking about when he says obedience can be a problem. Dobermans are extremely intelligent dogs, and i taught my 10 week old puppy to sit, stay and lay down all in the course of a day. Dobermans live to please their owners and too be with them

  • in winnipeg manitoba the police are switching form german sheaperds to belgian malinois because they are finding they dont get a long survice out of the sheaperds because of the problems with their back legs.

  • "great police dog" idk where the mans a cop, i never see police depts with any but shepards!

  • @jerryjuicebag Union City PD in Northern California, the video said it within 30 secs and they show a clip of his badge

  • When I'm watching this I can't wait to get one again :(

  • goddamn, even in a video about wonderful creatures such as dobees, people are still fighting? get a fucking life!!

  • @RAVENakaR, dude shut up you really need to relax, clearly this dog is doing a good job and making his owner happ. i have an "american" doberman that i bought in the middle of nowhere north carolina. i didn't pay $5000 dollars like you probably did for your "euro dobermanN" and guess what, he's just fine, an awesome pet and i don't have to feel like a stuck up jerk talking about him. not to mention he looks amazing, he's a beautiful dog.

  • Our sweet-natured (red) male Doberman really turns on the charm for women guests at our home! It's a miracle he doesn't get bruises from all the hugs and squeezes; he always returns for more.

  • I am getting a doberman i cant wait its five and half right now but i will be picking him up when his 8 weeks but time is going so slow!!!!

  • I love the name Rommel for a Dobie, and if you had another you could call it Montgomery or Monty for short! But my favorite Dobie names are Teflon and Kevlar... and that's what I plan on naming the pair I'll be getting someday.

I also met a lady once who had a pair she had named Euripides and Iripidos, pronounced "you rippa' deez" and "I rippa' doze". Funny play on words I thought! Of course you always have Zeus and Apollo from Magnum PI, but they're a bit too cliche for my taste.

  • @leananshae hehe, i called mine Leela, after the "one eyed" in the show futurama:p shes a six month old sweethart, she is young so a bit of a handfull at times, but good with kids and a great house dog:)

there is guard dog blod in her though, she can be sound asleep, but if somethings out of the ordinary happends shes up in a second:D

  • @sisutrucks Leela the cartoon character has just the right balance of femininity and take-charge, and thus it's a perfect name for a lady dobie! Lucky you to have one! She sounds awesome!

  • Didn't the narrator first say that training was difficult, but then later gave it a perfect score for trainability?

  • its a doberman that loves you more than you love yourself.

  • i dont think that you can find a more loving and affectionate dog... AND DONT FORGET LOYAL! ... dahah wtf i dunno i found it funny ... like did the narator or commentator have to do that?

  • My dad used to have two doberman pincher dogs and supposedly their "cruel" dogs but the little neighbor kids would stick their arms through the fence and the dogs would attack the kids arms... with licks and love, he didn't have to walk them with leashes either. He'd take them to the park and they'd stand by his side until he'd say "okay" and they'd take off in the grass and play. When one of the dogs passed away, the other became mean so my dad gave it to a guy who wanted a guard dog! sad!

  • i love my Dobrman he saved my life before he is the great dog ever

  • why do people chop their tails off

  • @xKiwiGamerx

Their tails are not "chopped off". A rubber band is placed just past the second joint when they are one day old and it falls off on its own due to no blood supply. It's entirely painless.

It is done because their "natural" tail (they're a human-created breed after all) is very long and thin and doesn't look good. Additionally Doberman's are such high-energy dogs that wagging that long tail can cause spinal damage and be a nuisance in a home. And the bad guys can't pull them off!

  • I'd adore a Doberman but I'm just so worried about it's health!

  • Thumbs up if you prefer NATURAL dobies, with no painful, unnecessary, plastic surgery.

  • i think that dude's taking in some cash off the books, he's got a pretty nice backyard for a beat cop

  • I've had Dobermans most of my adult life and couldn't live without their loyalty and unconditional love. They are emotional, though, and if they love you they can get their feelings hurt when scolded or disciplined.

Gunner, Rainbow, TItan, Luther and Sarge...babies, we miss you every day. Wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

  • @unityspirit51 I aslo think the same.I have a neerlands stam male of 6 years old he is my love, my jewel my life , the best dog ever!

  • I have a Dobie and a Jack Russell Terrier- both male, best of friends, and two breeds I would never be without, Dobermans are intensly loyal but have great character- like clowns- Such fantasitc dogs. Mine is training in obedience and working trails using a ball as a reward- thats all he needs!

  • @JoClarkeDogTrain Hey I have the same thing Virgil is my doberman and Odin is my jack russell. They too are bot inseparable

  • @zafeamoon Only a idiot would disagree.

  • @zafeamoon I strongly disagree. Docking tails and cropping ears is animal cruelty. It dosent look natural. You wouldn't shave of half og your ears and chop of half of your penis.

  • @Mortycakes lool they look weird with their tails curled and floppy ears they slightly better looking then u with out any docking or cropping and ppl sapy their dog so why not cropp their ears and dock tails

  • @Mortycakes docking a dogs ball is much worst

  • @zafeamoon the docked ears look cool but i like long tails

  • @zafeamoon i like the cropped ears but not the tails i had mine croped by laser for less pain

  • @tigeriron1 what ever works

  • @zafeamoon that's still legal where you come from? wow.

Though I agree, it does look good.

  • @fruhest nah u uk no but u can get a import and certain ppl can probably do it ; )

  • we've always had doberman, we have two brown and tan ones just now but the 2 year old one ruby is an absolute freak, she stands in front of you then takes aim nd gives you a kick, they make me laugh so much!! were would we be without the dobies?

  • theses dogs are guard dogs if someone can climb my house with a doberman then in my opinion their problem

  • I've never had a problem with my Doberman roaming. If we go for a walk and he is unleashed, he will stay right beside me the whole time. I never taught him that. Maybe it is just a unique trait in him. I know after having a Dobie, I will never own another type of dog. They are the most amazing breed of dog in my opinion. Super smart and super loyal.

  • I have two Dobies, a black male and a red female, my first large-sized breed and the most loving and loyal dogs I have ever owned! They came with cropped tails but I left their ears "au naturel", I don't see the point beyond the visuals. They play all day and are so verbal when wanting to express something, that's so funny! I'm a Dobie fan forever :)

  • brown dobbies <3

  • dobbies are cool but german shepherd is better

  • I used to have a doberman when I was little... well it was actually my father's but nevermind -w-. All my uncles and aunts used to be scared and said thiongs like "it's a dangerous dog!" WHAT?! he was the sweetest dog ever! it's just a matter to train they well!

  • I will always love my doberman :-)

  • I can't live without a dobermann

  • yeah i love them

  • @fedebuh True! my Dobe passed away 6 weeks ago it broke my heart.I allways said there would never be another. But life is not the same

  • One thing i like about this breed is the ears.

  • do you think a doberman could bite your arm and break it?

  • @EvanQuinn07 lol no

  • @EvanQuinn07 yup.

  • "obedience can be difficult for the doberman to master, because it restrains his natural impulse to roam and explore" u kiddin? so this highly intelligent dog, often used as police dog is not well suited for OBEDIENCE? and the dogs who can supposedly master obedience easier don´t have a natural impulse to roam and explore? the sentence is killing me...

  • @oOSaraliciousOo yeah inoticed a contradiction. theygave them 4/4

  • i need to get one <3

  • i need to get one <3

  • i mite get one

  • @teddybear4422 Dont stick to ur dogs

  • @Pocketpets13 why

  • @teddybear4422 coz ur not reDY FOR ONE

  • @Pocketpets13 there just like a shepherd and there nothing like a rott

  • @teddybear4422 ...ummm nope..

  • @Pocketpets13 i ave a doberman

  • @PuppyLove348 i see GSD in ur vids where the dobermen ?

  • @Pocketpets13 ok then i like shepherd better anyway

  • @Pocketpets13 how so

  • @teddybear4422 well theires a lot of things actully lol

  • @Pocketpets13 what ? they r both smart there both german dogs what more

  • @teddybear4422 it's the devioation and charckter thos to breeds have that serpertae them.

  • thats what i call the doginator

  • I own an American Pitbull terrier and we are considering getting him a companion, he already gets along with the Doberman across the street.

  • Check out my sweet and silly Doberman.

  • dogs 101 and breed all about it?

    dayum.

  • A more loving and affectionate dog? A Golden Retriever.

  • @FattyDudley fuck golden retrievers..... i was attacked by a golden retriever when i was young, i currently live with 2 pitbulls and have owned rottweilers, been around a few dobies..... none of these so called vicious breeds have ever done anything more then lick me.

  • @skysongluv13 Some Golden Retriever bloodlines have aggression in it. The Golden that attacked you is a badly bred Golden Retriever. It's not the Golden's fault, it's the bad breeder's fault. Goldens are actually very well-tempered.

  • @FattyDudley and your statement holds true to every breed. your golden retrievers are no more loving then my dogs, and many good owners dobies, rotties, pitties, ect.

  • @skysongluv13 ok, so you know there's no such thing as a bad dog, only a bad owner. please, dont say f*** golden retrievers... you can say f*** bad golden retriever owners.

  • @FattyDudley Then don't sit there and say that they are more loving and affectionate dogs then other breeds.... they got just as many faults as dobies and every other breed.

You made a smartass comment... and so did I...

  • @skysongluv13 Couldn't agree more... Dobermanns, Rottweilers, APBTs and other stereotypically 'vicious' breeds all are very misunderstood breeds.

  • @skysongluv13

Over the last two years when i have been walking my dog we have been attacked 7 times by other dogs that have been of their leads four of them were labradors

The most gentle dogs I have known are dobermans, boxers, rotties and staffie bull terriers.

fuck vicious labradors i want a doberman

  • this commentator is a JERK

  • They look a hell of alot nicer than pitt bulls.

  • The only thing not good is that they sometimes lose their smell, then they wouldn't recognize the owner and attack, but the attack has not bad intentions, is just the dog defending and protecting himself from an unknown person.

  • @prjibaro1 that's just a myth

  • I think ym ddoberman rlly liked me before it died. I really miss her.

  • Doberman's are amazing dogs. Some say that their fierce and can hurt you, but that's really only if he/she hasnt been trained properly.

  • @Lollipopz0o I agree 100% with you

I work at a dog groomers and by far the worst breed of dogs (in my opinion) has to be the lhasa apso, I've seen more aggression in that breed than in any other breed of dog I've come across, by which I mean properly domesticated dogs :P

  • @Lollipopz0o my doberman is a big baby !! but he is a good dog

  • Dobermanns are great great dogs in most respects

I was blessed to have two Dobermans.
