I was surprised when I first saw this at an arcade, I'm not sure what kind of graphics engine this game uses, but I hope the wii version looks at least this good or better, when it comes out

Look at the plenty of Wii games that are graphically better than Mario Kart Wii and tell me I'm wrong.
Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Red Steel 2, No More Heroes 1 & 2, Monster Hunter Tri (that definitely)

Actually, it is in North America, but only in select arcades. There's one at my Chuck E. Cheese. It's pretty good.
