This game was amazing. My only complaints were the lack of checkpoints and the fact that the scouts could backstab Sauron (how did they pick him up like that? O_O)

sauron is terrible in this game. that is NOT his fighting style. He specializes in swings that are slow but send his foes flying like on battle for middle earth 2. and he is way too weak. A freakin' hobbit should not be able to kill him. Other than that i love this game.

Oh yeah, Sauron is my favorite hero character. He's a combination between the combat system of the balrog/ent/troll and a regular warrior.

its so obvious hes on the easy difficulty, try doing this mission on heroic or the hardest one...its impossible... as soon as i get to this part, Sauron gets ALL OF THE AGGRO and dies in like 10 hits... its not fair at all... :(

oh and how the fuck does Elrond come back to life... that part makes no sense

You mean when he comes back at the last part of the mission? You didn't actually kill him the first time; just wounded him. One of the orc captains even says he can't find Elrond's body, so he probably snuck off to heal.

Yeah...whenever you choose a hero, the instruction voice should've changed to match the hero on the screen. It could easily have been Sauron who gave the orders to destroy Elrond and Legolas rather than that stupid Orc.

Man, I hate how much of a panzy Sauron is in this game. I mean, they seriously should have made him as strong as a troll, where it only takes two hits max to kill anybody, sheesh. And, the fact that his morningstar actually has momentum is really annoying.

Is it just me, or is anyone else constantly getting backstabbed by scouts, when playing as Sauron in Mount Doom? I thought Sauron was too tall to be backstabbed?!
