Dalai Lama's administration acknowledged today that it received $1.7 million a year in the 1960's from the Central Intelligence Agency, but denied reports that the Tibetan leader benefited personally from an annual subsidy of $180,000.
I do have to doubt some of your claims when you show a modern map (1:28) of the PRC having control of Taiwan as well. I don't see any PRC around here.
Just a few things. I know the poster of this video didn't create it, but if it removed the 'fucks' it would sound more like a statement of the facts and less like a juvenile jingoistic rant.
Also, history doesn't matter, if Tibet wants to be free it should. The opinions of the rest of the world don't mean anything. If TIBET wants to be free than only they matter. Same goes for Northern Ireland, maybe you should do a bit of research yourself and realise they fought the republic of Ireland.
Well most of the people who support the Free-Tibet Campaign have no idea about what is really going on, apart from being told by the media (mainly western media) what is happening. I personally think people should look at both sides of the story before blindly believing that true based on the media. How many of these so-called supporters know what is going on apart from the fact that they want freedom and Chinese government is not granting it, and that people have been killed?
It's a case of choice, if the people want to be free then that is very strong, I don't believe that there is a majority of Scottish people who wish to separate from the UK. Ireland have it there way and are separate, only Northern Ireland remains part of the UK. For Texas look at 'bke0312' comments. Absolutely, native people all over the world should be treated better. There are obvious reasons why the West wants to smear China, but the demands of Tibetans are still legitmate.
I thought the point was that the Dalai Lama does not want independence as such. He just wants cultural and spiritual independence (i.e. freedom to practice any religion etc.), and from what I have heard he does not condone the violent protests that have been going on. Supposedly he does not see this as a valid form of protest.
This seems very pro-China. although I don't know any better than anyone else I would really need more sources and references to trust the facts stated in this video.
I've research it a little. The Dalai Lama says he doesn't want independence anymore. The last part of my video tells you what he wants. He made a statement in 1988:

I'd agree with everything in the video, but I am pretty sure the CIA no longer sends funds to the Tibetan Guerilla movement. I know THEY DID at one time, but I am pretty sure once the story was revealed (By the New York Times I believe) Tinzo stopped accepting the funds. If you have any information on this though I would be interested in reading. All in all I agree with you: China's business is not America's business (or any other country's for that matter).
The Tibetian people want freedom you may try to claim their land but unlike Texans who willingly joined America you did not allow the people of Tibet to decide their own future you just took over PRC came into power. Don't ever compare Texas and Tibet again.

When I went to university in China, students from minor natives like Tibet can get extra 10 or 20 points in entering university (total points 750 and if you can get over 600 you are really excellent student:)
We have classmates from minor natives in the university and we didn't see much difference between us and we were happily together.

This is one of the greatest videos I have seen in youtube, though some words are too agressive and perphaps offensive. But many Chinese people have reached the extreme of tolerance, and they are so indignant and angery. They must speak out!
