if the attacker wants money, give him the money. i ca gaurentee u try to fight back while he has a knife on u will get u hurt. example if he has a knife at ur throat under no circumstance to u fight back, u give him what he wants if u try and fight back it will take him 2seconds to slit ur throat.

this is just a variation of skills fom filipino knife fighting but they would parry the attacking hand with the back of the hand rather than the palm/wrist as shown here as this exposes the main vains to a slash. still goos stuff though.

@brandonlee0071 You have many more options when you don't, what's more your attacks will be less predictable. If you have a knife then I know you there is a huge chance thats what you will attack with first. Unfortunately the damage factor between a knife and open hand is pretty significant, if you are caught with a knife there is a much higher chance of fatality.

I can't see any good reason to show anyone at all on YouTube how to cut with a knife. Unarmed knife defence is one thing but the information here should be reserved for your classes where you can see who you are teaching! You are obviously a great instructor but that's the whole problem. Scumbags don't need any extra tuition thank you.

@samurai184 It is clear in my comment what I am complaining about. Knives are the one area of the arts where just a little knowledge can make a big difference to the damage an untrained man can do. Certainly anyone can buy a DVD on basic escrima but most scumbags won't as that sort have no respect for the arts in the first place. YouTube however is a public forum and I don't like this knowledge being so public. Just an opinion. Respect.

The people on flight 93 were prepared to attack, and in doing so they saved hundreds, possibly thousands of lives. Those who carried out the 9/11 attacks were already prepared to attack. Videos like this won't prepare terrorists. It might however prepare more regular citizens. If more regular citizens were as equally prepared, maybe more than one of those planes would have been stopped by the passengers.
