How to Care for Ragdoll Cats

I want a Ragdoll, I have the room for play or just laying around the house, my home was made with love, so for me to welcome a new kitten is not a problem. I just don't know where to look for one. ( help)

@lrchurchill65 just google ragdoll breeders in your state. they're about $600 a kitten. otherwise you can look for ragdoll rescues or at the animal shelter, but those will probably be a mix

@TankAndBartrule just be gentle and patient with them. dont let them outside if you can and if you do have to have them on a leash. they crave human company and love to play with humans.

I am going to buy a ragdoll cat but I am worried as he will be the only one there. I only work about six hours a day and sometimes 4 hours a day on the weekdays and im free on the weekends. Is this enough to where my ragdoll will not feel lonely?

@khalilahinjapan I'm a law student and take my rag doll to my parents place whenever I visit, he recently came with me on a 5 hours drive to my dads place, very relaxed in the car! Rag dolls love to be with people, they're a great companion, they don't really like being alone for very long, probably best suited to a busy household where there is almost always someone home! :) hope this helps!
