We should be proud of having this kind of person in Japan who has world-wide influence. I can't stop thinking what would happen if could have been the mayor of Tokyo when he was on the election.
I have seen this man maybe on Japanese television and in magazines. I thought he didn't speak English, but his command of English is outstandingly great! His speech out there is very interesting. It is even inspiring.
Although Japanese has to catch a part of his words, but now the situation is changing. This is what U.S citizen should listen to, in the recent situation. And U.S must reconsider their total strategy to the world, as the super power.
But what he mentioned is totally true, although American Dream, which Japanese always believe, won't exist any more. It's really sad for me...
Jpanese people should realize that their economy and politics are now facing big trouble. However, because the situation is getting worse gradually, they do not realize its seriousness at hand. They would suddenly realize when it's already too late.. What can we do?

The most useful question ever, is
What is the underlying law of nature?
Be among the first to identify, understand and apply its answer. Why?
1. It is the way of all things. (observable)
2. It is the basis and absolute reference frame of the principles of thought, intelligence, communication and logic.
3. It made possible the formulation of these four principles.
4. Conscious use of these principles permit efficacy and efficiency to multiply in business and life.
Google it, as a start.

Very interesting speech,
I know he's a very famous strategy gurus in JP. By the way, do you have any other video about Mr. Ohmae but speaking in English?
thomasflee 3 years ago 2
Thank you very much for uploading Ohmae's insightful speech.
He is a rare Japanese who is respected by the world.
I believe his way of confident speech has lots of implication for Japanese who wish to convey their thought to the world effectively.
