I will say to the nay - sayers, that you can substantially lower the house edge in your favor by setting the dice. But you have to throw them the same way everytime, with minimal bounce. Throw them at the bottom crevice so they trap at the same time and bounce (minimally) back at the same rotation. Common sense. Perfect everytime? Of course not. But enough to make a difference!

NO system works to get the player a positive outcome, NONE. obviously if i play the dont with full 5x odds, i can lower the house edge to 0.227%. if you only make bets that are the best odds, you will go home more times with a plus. but still over an infinite amount of play, the game is a loser. for jasc4730: while there is nothing wrong with your "banking strategy", it mathematicly and logically cant give you an overall plus game. it is essentially another betting scheme, and they cannot work.

In craps, there are bets where the casino's advantage is only around 1%. It stands to reason that at times, you will hit a winning streak. I usually win money from the casinos. What you are describing here in your don't system is a good way to take shot but in the long run, the house still has the edge on every one of those bets you're placing...the way you're betting I would say you've lowered the house edge to about 0.7%

Usually i just play dont pass and dont take odds. On dont pass you have only a 7 and 11 that beats you 8/36 times for 22.2%. Craps give you win and a 12 pushes (3/36 8.3% to win and 1/36 2.8% to push). Any number on the board between 4 and 10 excluding a 7 has a 24/36 or 66.6%. So there are odds in your favor to hit the board, and then after you hit the board, you have odds in your favor for a 7 to hit before whatever number you have to give you the win. Thats just why i played it.

i know that you have odds in your favor for the roll, and then in favor after you have a number. I do also know though that you have to win both times, and that makes your odds drop below the house's. It doesn't matter how you play the game, but playing either pass or dont pass properly will give you closer to 50/50 shot than most casino games do.

The loss of a don't come bet is reflected in the NET winnings. These are NOT lay bets. "Simply" rolling those numbers???? Try that - Wrong bettors are the favorite to win against ANY point number! Random has NOTHING to do with this. The math shows you will have 6 ways to roll your seven, only 4 ways to roll a 5 or 9, only 6 ways to roll a 6 or 8, and only 3 ways to roll a 4 or 10. Nothing random about it. Couple that with my strategies (eg. stop-loss) and you WILL win consistently.

This isn't necessarily a bad system, but like any other craps "system", it doesn't work like that all the time!

The shooter could have easily picked off all your lay bets by simply rolling those numbers, one after another. *Every roll is random* so there's no real way to ensure you'll win consistently with ANY system, even though the 7 is the most likely number to be rolled...

This is not a bad system to play as long as you are at a cold table. Staying on the dont side. I would change off if the shooter hit 3 of those numbers that you put on the dont side, otherwise your fighting a hot shooter. On an average 1 out of every 10 shooters is on a hot role.

Since the beginning of time, the Don't bettor has been killed by the 7 on the come out. It's the ONLY THING that has killed him. Laying against a number for ONE ROLL while you come through the don't come defeats the 7. Taking down a lay is only foolish if you come through a don't come in the first place. The idea behind that is that you go through the trouble of beating the 7, and then take it down, which IS IN FACT foolish. Taking down a 41 no 4 after one roll is NOT foolish AT ALL.

Go back and read the system i lay out. You obviously missed something. People bet small on the line, then lay big odds, because they don't want to lose a big line bet to a 7. I defeat the 7 and have a big amount behind a number and get payed EVEN MONEY. NOT a fraction. There's a better way to play the don't... It's called the ricochet. Wait for a point, LAY the point and come through the don't pass for $15, and toss $1 on the YO. Now you CAN"T lose the 7 or 11. Get behind a number, take down your LAY bet from the point, and wait for the 7. DO NOT lay odds on your number. It is far better to get payed even money on the don't side, rather than risking more to win a fraction. Laying odds combined with losing to a 7 and 11 on the come out is what eats people up.

Johnny, you're way wrong. I don't think you understand what is happening in the video. He's betting against the shooter, so when the shooter sevens out, he will win all three Don't bets.

Actually, you'd pray for the 7 any time after the 3rd roll.

What he doesn't show is where this thing falls apart. That's when the shooter gets hot and hits all of those numbers a second time and he loses each of his Don't bets. That hurts. He needs a stop-loss strategy which wasn't shown.

Let's try reading what I actually asked. I said nothing about house advantage. EVERY bet has a built in house advantage, even the "free odds" which force you to make a pass line bet before you can take the free odds.

What I asked was why wouldn't you bet your $20 on the Don't Pass/Don't Come instead of $10 on the Don't with (up to) $20 on the Don't Odds? By playing the odds you risk more money to win the same amount.

By the way, the Don't Pass is an even money bet. You Bet 10, you win 10

One DC bet is enough. That way you want a 7 before the point and your own DC pt. If you keep going the DC, the odds are numbers will role and you'll lose some of them and you will always lose at least one DC bet at the end of the roll, being the table's 7-out.

I don't care if you've been teaching craps for 100 years. A system is only something to follow, it does not and cannot guarantee a win, especially not in the longer term. If you suggest it does, you're either silly or not honest.

Been using this system for 15 years now! Is somewhat different. never have more then 3 numbers against and if I lose one I will replace a DC only once. doesn't always win! It falls into the 'GRIND' category. I liken this system to one where say a bettor would walk up to the table place 3 numbers and get cremed over the course of an evening and hit one number and lose two or lose all 3 over an extended period. yes, 4 increases your chance of loss by 1, but it also increases your chance of ANOTHER winning number by one. Remember, you're a favorite to win your bets - not lose them. Those occasional 4-number wins that I call "ultimate kill" are very, very satisfying... but then EVERY profit is... no matter 1, 2, 3, or 4 numbers!
