Ista08: You have a permissions problem with your uploads folder. If you are using an FTP client such as Transmit, you can navigate to your 'uploads' folder and right-click on it. Choose 'Get Info' and then assign Read AND Write rights to the folder and all of it's contents. Technically, you are setting rights to '777'. If this is confusing, contact your web guy or hosting company; ask them to change the rights on your 'uploads' folder to allow 'read and write'.

hello.
i'm having a problem when uploading the photo.
it says 'Unable to create directory /home/cookie/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2008/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server? '
how do i solve this problem?
