@kidley It feels right to everyone who wants to join. When I was in DEP only one person wasn't sure, we talked about it while I gave him a ride home. I told him to speak up to Ssgt O. Ssgt O's words were "If you don't want to be here, then I don't want you." It was a bit harsh, but true; if there is any doubt in your mind about being a Marine, it will show up later. And for your information the oil contracts were awarded to a French company the pipe line contract was snapped up by a British company and America is paying more for Iraqi oil than we do the saudis or in kuwait. On average we pay 20 dollars more a barrel for their oil and if you have never been to Iraq then you don't know what we are doing there.

@kidley It feels right to everyone who wants to join. When I was in DEP only one person wasn't sure, we talked about it while I gave him a ride home. I told him to speak up to Ssgt O. Ssgt O's words were "If you don't want to be here, then I don't want you." It was a bit harsh, but true; if there is any doubt in your mind about being a Marine, it will show up later. Particularly when you get to the fleet. If you have any questions, you can message me.

you honestly have no idea what we are doing there. And for your information the oil contracts were awarded to a French company the pipe line contract was snapped up by a British company and America is paying more for Iraqi oil than we do the saudis or in kuwait. On average we pay 20 dollars more a barrel for their oil and if you have never been to Iraq then you don't know what we are doing there.
