Singing at a concert is essential, no doubt, but screaming off-key during a kick-ass intro which derives its quality from being quietly emotional is a hindrance to everyone in the venue.

They can scream all the want during "Keasbey Nights" or "Point/Counterpoint," those songs are made for a large group of people yelling the chorus, anyhow. Heck, sing, scream, belt, belch, or vomit during any other part of any other song besides the intro of "A Better Place, A Better Time."
