Wow! That sucks that u lost it! But u made someone else happy when they found it! It probably got into a thermal and then into hevy wind and ended up in china or something!
So if you buy one and fly it outdoors, put your phone number in permanent marker on the wings I guess! Something like, "I'm lost! Please call my owner!"
psst...
"If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, then it is yours forever."
Thanks again Jang. Me and my 3 year old son always love you videos and we still love our Maisto Rock Crawler that you recomended a while back. Do you know of any good rc boats of subs that will work well in the bath?
Jang, do a Multiplex Fun Cub kit, builds with super glue in an evening... and it can be completed with a handfull of servos, and some cheap parts from HobbyPartz or HK... Thanks for branching out with your videos...
Jang, to be honest, I love the honesty in your reviews, and am glad you are here to inform in such a manner. And now I know exactly what plane not to buy, what kind of plane would you suggest for a flying noob like me?
@TimberWolf429 I've got a couple reviews coming that'll show ya two excellent options for ultralight or more outdoor-capable options that are very newbie-friendly!
The plane was insulted that you did not like its biplane wing and went to find someone that would appreciate it more... What a terrible plane to do that to someone.
It looks like a great flying little bird ,that really sucks that it flew away. Thanks for the info. I will stay away from this little plane..You got to check out the night vapor ,if you haven't all ready ,its a blast to fly
lol samething happened to me with a large 300$ plane (it was my first rc plane) im like you im more into RC sc trucks and i thought id give the planes a try yeah aparently the planes didnt want us lol
Theimacman, true but the champ flys in a very similar way, and it will never loose signal, I crashed mine in my pond and used the prop and motor to get it back, threw it and it kept going, just great, and you can fly it outdoors usually.
The Champ is a great beginner plane, but it's not an ultralite, like the plane he's testing here. The Vapor, or Night Vapor, is a much more comparable plane.
@greenrolaids Only ONE to date has come after me with spite, a battery company I shall not name. I'm sure a fair number have decided against advertising on URC but I'm perfectly fine with that.
@UltimateRCnetwork Personally, when I see a review that is OBVIOUSLY just a hype video calling itself a review... It makes me want a product even less just because the company/reviewer is basically saying "hey you seem stupid, here lets say a bunch of awesome stuff so you'll spend money on THIS." A review shouldn't be about making a person want or not want an item... It should be about giving the person as much information as possible on the product so they can make their own informed decision.
See, this is the beginning! We have taken RC technology too far. They are all going to run away on us, assemble in the woods, form a RC army and then take over the world! Your plane will be the one that started it all, thanks for destroying the world Jang!!! :P
Thanks for the great review like always. Very strange that it does that.
Awe man, I made my Night Vapor recommendation before even watching the video, and now that I've watched the video, I *really* wish you would've bought the Night Vapor instead! So sorry for your loss.
(I live in Champaign, IL, where both Hobbico and Horizon are located, and I find Horizon's products to be of higher quality.)
A Plane indoors only lol. They say that most likely knowing that it has issues with fly aways. so to avoid the loss. ONLY IN DOORS. Jangs lost of money is our gain. I would say find a chopper for indoor only app. Good job jang.
Thanks for the fair warning on flying it indoors only... hard to fault the manufacturer for losing the plane if they warned you in advance, though I am definitely more of an outdoor plane guy myself. Great review and very helpful, thanks!
Cool, i don't mind it, i do recommend the ember, it flies more like an airplane... I love rc planes, if not more then trucks, I just got me a 73" extra 260 30cc
A reason for the bi plane being harder control and needing more airspeed could be because two wings means more drag, but more lift for less speed, but on something so small the effect might be much more exagerated.
Wow! That sucks that u lost it! But u made someone else happy when they found it! It probably got into a thermal and then into hevy wind and ended up in china or something!
