The throttle quadrant on the 1970-on Cherokee 6s were levers, not push pull knobs like on this one, and the instruments were better aligned not so scattered. This one appears closer to a 1965 then to a 1975. But the older have a much better useful load.
Correct me if i'm wrong, I believe the lines down the runway are supposed to be the center of the runway.and you're supposed to keep the plane on center. Maybe on the first landing you were practicing an emergency landing on a two way street.
1965 or 66 model jeff. i fly one for my job and it is the same cockpit and exterior 260hp. i believe the 260 was only produced for 2 years 65 and 66 then the 300 model came out. anyone correct me if i am wrong
WOW. What a fun trip and great people too. Looks like you guys and girl really know how to enjoy life. I have watched this one several times. I think this Cherokee-6 looks older than a 1975 model but doesnt matter. Thank you for sharing your trip. Happy Flying, from Jeff in Pinon Hills, California
Hi Jeff, thanks a lot for your support! I'm the PIC (priveliged in comand) that is seated on the left front seat and as far as I know this is a '76 airplane.
Absolutely fantastic video. I just finished my PPL last week, and I think you really captured the joy of flying with this.
Plus, I love the look of the Cherokee Six. I hope I get a chance to take one up someday!

Hey mate. What MP and RPM did you have set to get a TAS of 150kt at 070? Also what was the average fuel burn per hour in litres?
Thanks

Fortunately there's no landing fees to pay, especially in north of Portugal!
