  • You can definitely get mod podge at walmart. I also LOVE using that stuff :)

  • this video saved christmas for me. my girlfriend is getting a découpage'd table with 50's and 60's fashion ads. thank you!!!

  • @smashtron3000

Aw, that's so sweet! I bet she'll adore it!

  • I like your room! so retro. I love the pictures and the collages on the wall:)

  • @Sammy13xoxo where you get the pictures? used to print or cut out magazine? :))

  • @Sammy13xoxo

Thanks(: Mostly I got them from online but some are from magazines(:

  • if i put it on furniture is it hard to get back off if i wanna take it off & if so how do i get it off THANKS

  • @Jules21391

If you do it the way I do in this video it is extremely difficult to remove. I tried to sand my desk off with an electric sander and after an hour I gave up.

I wouldnt recomend doing this to expensive furniture or something you would want to put back to normal:/

  • @Jules21391 you could collage it on a peice of poster board then you could stick it on your wall or you could put it on your desk, then get some glass and put it on top of your desk

  • Tuis helped I love the idea

  • @MandiMarzzXD

    Thanks(:

  • ModPodge is the bomb. This is a really cool video, Love the collage's! :0D

I might just have to do this!

  • @amandaggogo

    You should, it's a great way to get creative(;

  • That is awesome

  • @fairydust79

    Thanks love!

  • i like how u left ur profile signed in on the computer at my house, and i like how thats my table :D

  • @justlookatmylife

    pahaha i love you michael(:

  • idea: you could put clear contact paper over the top to seal it all in and if you spill on it you can just wipe it right off. its kind of like laminating.

  • i also mod podged a piece of cardboard for my friends birthday and she said it was like the best gift she got (secretly of course).

  • Thats amazing.im going to do the switch right now and my entire desk later, gosh, thanks(:

  • @BriLike

I would love to see how it turns out love<3 good luck!

  • Do you have to use Mod Podge Or can you use Glue?>

  • @Bluebasssparks

you could use some good ole elmers but mod podge is a thicker consistency so it will be more protective. you can buy mod podge with different finishes as well (semi-gloss, matte, gloss, etc)

  • A good thing to do about spills and food is put one of those glass square things over the top of it. So if u want you can take it off- it's clear so you can see the collage you've made- and if u spill you only had to wipe it off the glass.(:

  • @guidomuffins

thats actually a really great idea! and actually, if you want to make a collage with pictures(with real camera film) or a collage that looks more mature, it looks really cool to just put a glass square over the table/surface. perfect for living rooms, a more mature feel or some one who likes to change it up often(: great advice!

  • i mod podged my phone(like the back of the battery),my ipod touch case(which i absolutly love now bc it was just red before but now it has like the monster goes rawrr, christofer drew and owl city) and i also mod podged a old trash can tht i have had since i was 8 or somethig it had hannah montana on it but now it has stuff tht i like now!! thanks for put this video up!!!

  • @mipie1998

thats really awesome! its so much better to reinvent something you've already had with mod podge than to go out, buy something and then modpodge it...recycle(:

  • We use clear lacquer over the top of the collage. It dries hard and protects the work better.

  • @zombifiedanarchy Mod podge peels off easily I put it on the bak of my phone and on my dresser and it peeled off fine (plus I mod poged my posters on my wall and it also peeled off fine without peeling off the paint) hope that helps :)

  • can u do this on glass???

  • If I do this to like a bookcase but later I want to change it then will it peel off easily without ruining the furniture?

  • @clutzberries it will peel off with some damage if you ONLY mod podge the front of pictures and not the back as i had done in this video.

Be prepared for damage though either way!

    good luck(:

  • @justlookatmylife im gonna do it anyway... i need to spice up my room XD

  • @justlookatmylife I definitely will ! I had to wait forever to get started due to college essays using up all of my ink lol but I finally Modge poged the top of my book shelf with bands that I like. So I will send some pictures when it dries ! Super excited ! :) Thank you soo much !

  • So about to go Modge podge crazyyyy ! I have been trying to find a way to make my room more.... Like me I guess you could say ? I'm really excited ! Thank you, definitely subscribing ! :) -3

  • @DollFayceXD

    haha, thats really nifty(:

you should send me some pics of stuff you've done! i would really love to see!!!

    and thank you!

  • My speakers are terrible so I couldn't hear the entire intro D:

I want to collage my door but since we're renting, I can't just straight up glue it on.

    Any tips? :'(

    &What's mod podge?

  • @vEsain

mod podge is just a certain type of glue or decopodge.

if you cant glue it on then simply tape it with double sided tape(:

thats what i did on the back of my door(you can see it on my room tour video)

  • Thats soooo cool i am gonna buy some stuff tonight and get collaging :)

  • @MsBench1216

wow, awesome! have you done it yet?

  • @TheNintendoluver28

    thanks(:

  • cool :)

  • @antichristeileen

    Thanks!!!

  • I'm going to try it! Thank you! Using old calendars and all of the fairy pictures.

  • @SheehanBeth cool(:

  • does it work with pva?

  • @justlookatmylife pva is a glue with a thickish substance that sets clear

  • @jakebenjimanmarshall

oh yeah! its probly the same product, just a different brand(:

you could deff use that. the only reason im all about the mod podge is:

    1. thats what ive always used, so i know its trustworthy.

    2. its well known and is not going to ever stop selling like some craft stuff:(

    3. they have many different types of mod podge(different textures, colors and shines)

    4. its the best(: haha.

tell me how the pva works out(:

  • @justlookatmylife thanks for the help the pva worked out great my room looks amazing now

  • @jakebenjimanmarshall

    thats really cool(:

    i would love to see!

it would be awesome to see a video or pictures of what you did!

  • @justlookatmylife I will defiantly

  • this was so helpful! Thanks :)

  • same here avril rocks!!

  • why-avril:] thats so cool how u do that, looks amazing

  • @fatallyfeli

i liked avril when i was in elementary school and recently re-fell in love with it(: haha, im not embarassed to say it.

    and thank you(:

  • that stuff smells so gross we had to use it in art its so gross!!

  • @fashionistasX1

i love the smell of it!

it reminds me of doing something i love, haha.

if anyone else is wonder, it smells like elmers glue x100.

  • you have no idea how much i love your vids! i was one of those peope who asked you to do this vid and im very impressed! keep the videos coming because i realy look forward to them! ;)

  • @NerdyObsession

    wow, thank you so much!

people like you are the reason why having a youtube and making videos is so much fun(:

it means alot that you enjoy my vids!

  • Wat happens if the mod podge Thingy dries on a place it's not supposed to be ??

  • omg, I'm collaging (is that a word? lol) my bookshelf and my desk (I totally got the idea from your video a long time ago) but mine look nothing like yours and I left spaces around the pictures and I'm going to paint them also (I think I'll make a video about it when I do it...but I have to wait til it gets warm again)

  • @ashPTERODACTYL that really awesome(:

i cant wait to see it!

yeah, painting on/with collages looks really cool,

and its a good idea to put mod podge/sealant over the paint as well as the pics to get a nice finish that makes the piece look like one piece of art instead of a buch of jumbled pics:P

    and yeah, collaging is a word. haha(;

  • i love your videoss i just wish it was better quality D;

and i love that you were listening to old school avril xD

  • @16788048

sorry about the quality, but my webcam is the only editable video recorder i have!

thanks so much for the compliment(:

oh, haha old avril lavigne is how i rollll.
