  • I don't know if anyone has requested this, but I'd like to see a natural clothes detergent that is safe for the washer and maybe a dish soap. That would be handy.

  • Yaaay more vids =) And if you eva find that simple living community I will sooo go with you!!! That sounds amazingly peaceful! I also started making my own cleaners and laundry soap but I'm always interested in new recipes! Oh and p.s. are you still doing the year and a day study thing? I haven't looked at it since like January-ish :/

  • Looking forward to your series and such a wonderful idea! :) I use many cleaners and i try to look for the enviromentally friendly products. Hope your having a wonderful weekend! :)

  • Oh. yeah. Should I send another message telling you guys to pick days for reals? Cuz you guys can just do that lol. I forgot.

  • @cutewitch772 lol I actually messaged all the subs last week after I knew who everyone was and asked if anyone was not cool with their day. Most people were cool and others were like, "I don't care" so I think we're good with the days we were assigned! lol

  • I like bathroom cleaner idea. Along with that, since I JUST used these (I've been cleaning everything the past few days), glass/wood cleaners? And I personally don't use shampoo anymore because of the chemicals, so more hair care ideas are always cool. I use baking soda, tea tree oil, I know others use apple cider vinegar... Yeesh, I've been using rose water a lot for my skin and hair, doubtless other people would like facial cleansers. So many things! Yes, long series ahead lol.

  • @cutewitch772 I know about the shampoo! I started using organic shampoo but even that still has chemicals. Right now I'm using this relatively inexpensive stuff calls YES to Carrots. But even when I was using Aveda products, they still put sulfates in their hair products. I still use their moisturizer though. But yes, I think shower cleaner will be the first one I do this weekend. ...looong series. lol

  • My names Charlie too!!! Yahya same name! LOL Cant wait for the series!

  • @midnightmoonlight7 HELLO FELLOW CHARLIE!!! :)

  • you are like my soul sister. being self sufficient and such is exactly what i would love to do, too. did you know roseanne barr is completely self sufficient?

but yeah, i think if you could incorporate using herbs and lots of diy stuff, you'd be really successful. people are really interested in that right now. great idea.

  • @aurorawindsong I did not know that about Roseanne!! You know, I love her and I watch Roseanne reruns all the time. Now I just like her even more, haha

  • @charliesaysgo SO DO I, she has the best one liners!! she was a wiccan at one point in her life, too. in her mid-twenties :) she still refers to "god" as a female.

  • That's the one thing I loved about 'The Village' movie, Showing how people lived with none of the tech or luxuries of this time... then the movie goes another direction... grrr

  • @Dangershoes Must say, I love your videos! This one is awesome! :)

  • We're also looking for a large plot of land to start our homestead, hopefully about a year from now! We hope to be self sufficient and off the grid eventually. We've been making changes, one at a time, for about a year now and its saved us a lot of time, not to mention I can tell a difference in our health due to less chemicals! My husbands allergies have been alleviated so much, its awesome! Vinegar is my best friend now, haha ;)

  • I'd love to see a bathroom cleaner recipe! My kitty ends up licking the shower walls daily and I dont want her getting sick from all the chemicals in commercial bathroom cleaners!

  • wow, my mother lived in many places like the one you described that you wanted to live in, mostly kibbutzes and communes. Kibbutzes are like israeli communes and farming communities. She told me it was nice to eat things that she grew.

  • I love your videos ;)
