  • I made this circuit a while back and the output waveform was only about 50Mhz and it was transmitting on the first harmonic, which was limiting the power. If you use a proper RF choke at the base of the second transistor and change the first coil to three turns, you should be able to get at least 2.5 miles with a properly sized dipole.

  • what is the range?

  • @michulecalan Chiar la inceputul clipului ti se spune de ce ai nevoie si capacitatea pieselor !! Fi atent !

  • It looks from the schematic that you have 3 different tuning capacitors in there, but I only see one on the breadboard. Please explain? and did you personally test the 1km range?

  • is the 0-47 pf cap from a radio?

    thanks, 5*

  • @Ankeladden sure it is. It's for tuning transmitter to certain freq.

First, find "empty" frequency on receiver. Next you have to tune transmitter to the same freq. (you will hear transmitted sound). And voila - Your transmitter is up and running. But be careful, if your transmitter is too powerful or if you tune it to a "non-empty" freq. you may be raided as a radio-pirate!

  • bravo! imi place cum ti-a iesit
