i definitly know what you mean. take quite a few trips there through out the year. love it there. i went to zapata falls. its was close to winter so we didnt walk in to see the fall.. we tryed but no success. still an awesome spot right there

A few years back, my son trekked up the dunes when a lightening storm blew in... scary, but he mastered going to the top and signed the canister that is there for anyone that can make the summit. Fun place if you are in good condition.

looks tiring, haha. I've been to the Sleeping Bear Dunes a few times here in Michigan, and climbing dunes is about the hardest uphilling I can imagine. fun to run down though.

We actually saw a woman climbing up the dunes with snowshoes! Looked like it worked really well.
