Sympathetic modulation inside the Dell monitor?

@tcpnetworks ACtually turned out to be a ground loop from the pc to the monitor, and because it was the speaker lead was picking up interference (AM channels) the speakers would play it. strange and amazing :P

Your graphic card's cover is aerial. You connect you signal audio in to amplifier in audio card.
