I worked, and still do, for the late Delaney Bramlett's record label. It was nice to hear Elton mention his name when he said, he first heard Leon with Delaney & Bonnie. As you must know Leon and Delaney were in the Shindogs on TV's Shindig show together.

After that show ended they continued to work together.

They wrote, "Superstar", that The Carpenters made a hit out of.

Also, Elton's and Leon's backup singers are the best.. the one that is hitting those high notes is Tata Vega,(Google her)

I've been playing this into the ground since downloading from ITUNES. Rolling Stone called it the #3 album for 2010. I think it should have been #1. Every song has something to enjoy in musicality, lyrics, and vocals.

I love how Elton is so humbled and appreciative of Leon Russell. I've listened to the album and I love it. Not a big fan of the "current" music, but this album tops my list amazingly. Hopefully this will be a start for future work to come with Elton and T-Bone.

In 1975 i was 10 i asked my mother for 10 dollars and then walked to a little record shop and got willow the wisp.I have been playing now for 32 years guitar and piano.Elton,well what can you say about iconoclast's so so humble, even after his body of work that has been a part of our colective memories, as ls leons.this just fills my heart
