  • Eight Thoughts brought me

  • Elton John continues to amaze me..all my life you have been a presence.I remeber as a child riding in my uncles 74 chevy nova with bennie and the jets playing on the 8 track. One great song after another for my lifetime..and now you help Leon..thanks Elton...you are more than a musician.

  • There was a lot of talent in that room!!

  • 0:02 / 0:38 Which song is it? Amazing !

  • I worked, and still do, for the late Delaney Bramlett's record label. It was nice to hear Elton mention his name when he said, he first heard Leon with Delaney & Bonnie. As you must know Leon and Delaney were in the Shindogs on TV's Shindig show together.

After that show ended they continued to work together.

They wrote, "Superstar", that The Carpenters made a hit out of.

Also, Elton's and Leon's backup singers are the best.. the one that is hitting those high notes is Tata Vega,(Google her)

  • This CD blows me away...can't stop playing it or singing it...awesome gospel singers and Neil Young to boot. Heavenly...every single song is superb!

  • I've been playing this into the ground since downloading from ITUNES. Rolling Stone called it the #3 album for 2010. I think it should have been #1. Every song has something to enjoy in musicality, lyrics, and vocals.

  • Great ! Thanks much.

  • I didn't even realize it, but I've been waiting 35 years for this magnificent album. Thank you Elton for bringing Leon back into our hearts and minds. This is a masterpice. Pity those that don't "get it"

  • the great album is #3 in US!

  • I just received my cd of the union...played it....one word....GREAT!!!

  • I love how Elton is so humbled and appreciative of Leon Russell. I've listened to the album and I love it. Not a big fan of the "current" music, but this album tops my list amazingly. Hopefully this will be a start for future work to come with Elton and T-Bone.

  • I hope there is a small documentary made for this great project. It's so sweet & soul full, both Leon & Elton rock. Can't wait to hear the album.

  • In 1975 i was 10 i asked my mother for 10 dollars and then walked to a little record shop and got willow the wisp.I have been playing now for 32 years guitar and piano.Elton, well what can you say about iconoclast's so so humble, even after his body of work that has been a part of our colective memories, as ls leons.this just fills my heart

  • What a great clip...i just cannot wait any more for this album release!!=)

  • wonderful..!!!

  • This album is really superb

  • i love ELTON!

  • The tiny portion of "Hey Ahab" that I heard has made it my favorite song from The Union. I've already pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of this album.

  • The piano part on the first Leon clip sounds a lot like "Talking Old Soldiers" by Elton. His influence shows up all over Elton's stuff!

  • Wow. So Excited I could BURST.

  • Love, love, love. Can't wait for this album to come out. Thanks so much for finding and sharing.....

  • That was amazing! Do you have anymore to share??

Love seeing that side of Elton.

  • @HaginTheWalrusBoy I found the vid on T Bone's website
