Please note: this is a group called Circle Of Women. I put the group together and produced the album, and am a member of the circle, but this is not an Alice DiMicele album. I do have 11 albums of my own original music, but the artist should be listed as "Circle Of Women"
I went to my first Pagan celebration this summer. SummerFest Jully 2011 in Red Lodge, MT with the Mountain Moon Circle of Billings Montana. We closed the circle on the final day with this chant. I met so many amazing people I cant wait for next summer...
This is a glorious song. :) I don't consider myself Pagan or Wiccan, but a Modern Kemetic {ancient Egyptian} witch, but I still love music like this. :) Brightest of blessings to you all!
blessed be too all those whom follow their hearts desire and keep an open mind that truly honors thegoddess and her will this do in her name and yeshall be blessed x3 keep in your heart this song as i do in do as ye ye shall harm none)o( BLESSED BE
I can't find the verson I'm lookin for could some one help? It's a little fater and says "May the peace of the goddess be forever in your heart" Insted of "Love of the goddess"
i wish we could sing songs like this in school all we ever sing is christain music its just not fair maybe if we did sing stuff like this some people would learn to be more open minded about religion
are you in america by chance? and go to a public school? i hope not they can get in big trouble with the ACLU for that shit. truly beaufiul song one of my faviorates.
yes im in america and ya im in public school and as my friend would put it all we ever sing is "wholly jesus" music but i dont see that changein any time soon cuz the whole state feels like its run by the mormon church.....highschoolers are geting credits for going to the mormon church across from the school and its a public school too...its not like when i get to high school they would give a young wiccan like myself credits for studying my own religion......its just messed up if u ask me.
there are groups out there that when given tips about this stuff they battle it and set it right it is %&***^D up and should not happen. its okay to have a youth group but NOT have the teachers give children credit for attending church.
@xXxloveandlightxXx honestly you should take that up to the local councils. thats not allowed, and is breaking the law, and the constitution. Such acts as giving credits for atending a specific religous gathering is in violation of the "separation of church and state" act. I would take this higher if I were you.
@xXxloveandlightxXx I agree with you I went to a public school and they made us sing "Gluriea low cies deao" (or how ever you spell it) and it translates to "Glory to god in the highst" and I'm like thinking "THis is a public school why are we singing songs about the christen god?? if we sing about one relgion we should sing about them all!"
@xXxloveandlightxXx I'm 15 and I feel so much like you do... it's like I can't be happy with my own decision of religion... i have to be questioned for it everyday. It's not fair... or right. Thank you for sharing your story... blessed be
@xXxloveandlightxXx I was literally just thinking that! We sing extremely religious Christian music quite often because it comprises most of classical choral music and provides a meaningful musical experience regardless of what belief its text professes. However, I think that this music is also musically valuable and would provide a good opportunity for inter-cultural education.
@xXxloveandlightxXx I've been thinking that same thing ever since I dedicated myself when I was 13. Being the only Pagan in the entire high school was horrid. College? I've still not found any others. Maybe one day we'll have schools that allow all religions and lifestyles to sing the songs they hold to their hearts.
So energizing and I cant wait for yuletide :)

beautiful music. I'm not a Wiccan myself (I don't believe in the merits of organized religion) but I do appreciate the attitude of the religion.

@mugetsu44 Christian wasn't "organised" too??? At least we all know about the nature...
