Ooookidoki I feel a little trolled... You cut my Dinosaurs. I saw that fade in, fade out thing. Its okay, though. :) But if it had been someone here at the house unplugging the or computer while I was watching my Dinosaurs, someone would have been in for Hell. lol xD I almost freaked out when my boyfriend mopped in front of my laptop and I couldn't reach my Dinosaurs to hit play and continue watching. lol I was like "NOOOOOOOO!!!!!". lol I just couldn't wait. Too exciting for me. lol
Hey! That sounds NOTHING like Earl's voice! I loved "Dinosaurs" when I was a kid,and I have both the dvd volumes to prove it. Anyway,Earl's voice in this parade sounds like a cheap sound-alike. Where was Stuart Pankin? Is he even still alive??
Dude, those were the original voices. This parade ran in 1991-1992 period up until Aladdin's Royal Caravan. The compression on the non-digital stuff like this alters the sounds somewhat.
I wasn't saying anything about Fran,Robbie,Charlene,Ethyl,or the Baby;it just sounded like that wasn't really Stuart Pankin doing Earl. Stuart's Earl was more deep and hoarse, this one sounds an octave or two higher and less raspy.
Well, they were all the original voices. I performed in that parade, it occured during the prime time of the Dinosaurs TV show and was produced in league with the Henson Disney team up back then. They had the cast come to Disney to record for it. although in a side note, this was never actually called a parade, but an event. The first "parade" was Aladding in Dec 1992.
... What? ... I'm sorry... What???... I mean, I like Aladdin, too. Heck, I LOVE Disney. But they took out the Sinclairs for ALADDIN?! D=< I MISSED OUT ON THIS BECAUSE OF ALADDIN?!?!?!?! I was born in 1992 and didn't get to go to Disney for my first time until I was NINE. And you know what? One of my first favorite things on television was DINOSAURS. I've been in LOVE with it ever since kindergarten! Damn you, Disney...
Hey, a fellow childhood fan! :D Hugs! -hug- I didn't grow up with access to a ton of episodes, though... I only had like four of them, all out of order, on VHS. But I've kept that VHS all these years and almost every year, I've watched it over and over. lol But now I've got seasons 1 & 2 on DVD as an early birthday gift. <3 I've been watching the show for three days straight. :D NOTHING ELSE. It was probably driving my family up a wall. lol
WOW! That's me on that silly boom portraying the director. This was the first "mini parade" we ever did at the Disney MGM. This looks to be just before the end of the run because that's when I took over that role. After that we did the Aladdin's Royal Caravan for almost three years. That was the best parade that park ever had. A Hercules and then a Mulan parade followed, but neither were that great. The "Motorcade" now is just sort of a cheap fix until they get something better.
Ach, I did this too, as character performer, but you forgot to list Toy Story Parade, which I thought was better than ARC. Wow, isn't it interesting how the internet can bring the whole disney entertainment family together again. We should have a massive reunion party of everyone who worked in live entertainment at WDW.....Wouldnt' that be a blast?
Doesn't the courtyard look so much better without the hat/pin store? Also, I don't think the Dinosaurs show and characters would be that appealing on TV or in the parks today.
Nostalgic!! not only because I used to watch the show, but also I went to disneyworld in 1992 when I was in grade 2 and saw that same parade!! After 14 years can't remember much but this clip brought it all back. Amazing what you can find on the internet these days!
A look at D/MGM before the big hat blocked the view of the courtyard, and a look at hose synergistic things used to be in the theme park with the TV world.
a women was driving the front float.this time the drivers were visible seen, they sit very low.

Cool clip! I haven't seen this live since the month after this video was filmed. :] Kinda odd that Baby was the only one with their actual voice...

The costumes look pretty shabby compared to the ones on the show. No articulation in the faces. :\

Lol those are the original voices, being a musician, I back you up fully when I say that youtube is notorious for messing up sound quality.

I know why are the ladies hollering, "SURPRISE!" WDW had a year-long celebration commemorating its 20th anniversary. I haven't seen this, but thanks.
