Great video. Im in jersey too. Down in zone 34. Capemay. hope to share some hunt footage for winter bow on my channel. Ordered a camera mount for the stand. What type of camera do you use? all i have is a digital camera it takes video and good quality would you suggest a upgrade?
Great video. One among many great hunting videos. I've been hunting since the early 80's and something I've learned over the years is this... enjoy the hunt. It doesn't matter what you use, it's not proving how much of a man you are, it's not about tagging the largest buck, it's about "the hunt". This year I bought a crossbow and look forward to using it. I think any well rounded hunter strives to be proficient in whatever is available. To those who want to prove they're the man.. get an atlatl.

And you are wrong about the crossbows being expensive, you can get a very fast and accurate crossbow with a scope for a few hundred dollars. My Parker Enforcer shoots 300 FPS and came with a reticle scope for under $400.00.
And any hunting is a challenge, depends how you challenge yourself... are you on the ground hunting with your compound, Mike?
@TheFieldArcher nah, i hunt from a stand on public land up north.unfortunatly i cant hunt private land. not saying thats bad or anything. would if i could. but i get a kick out of seeing these giants getting taken on private land. not sure if u are a bass fisherman but its kinda like getting an 8lb. bass in a private pond. kinka lessens the acomplishment in my opinion..
I like your videos, very well done. I recently purchased a Tenpoint crossbow and love it. I have two recurves, a long bow and a compound and also hunt with rifle and muzzle loader.
I understand the challenge aspect but I hunt for food now, so its more about what's legal.
I purchased my cross bow because of severe tennis elbow.
To each his own I say, doesn't really matter what weapon.

@AtlasHBS Its fairly illegal to hunt with a spear in some places, I dont agree with the guy you were repling to but I have to say, Bow hunting is the best challenge you're gonna get in a lot of states.
