ex sample a clever fighter would most likely hit with the same hand he just block not always the predicted oppsite hand and with the subect of punches,punches would not have been pulled before striking as that is telegraghing but we have to remember this was made for viewers to be able to catch every movement.

also remember pulling a punch does not add power it does telegragh it

a powerful punch is unseen and relaxed

This is a bad illustration of old style boxing. Mind you this is an actor, and he is not a master. Old style boxing was vicious and dirty by todays standards. In the later rounds they would use more standing grappling and throws, akin to what might be seen in an MMA match.
