its true that the educational system in japan is biased. from grade 1 to 6 there, i never heard of the truth of the war in japan. but i was told about this by my grandfather. as japanese, i am not denying the fact that japan is ashamed and hiding from this but ultimately they honor the parents and their parents to let the younger generation to teach the truth. for this i am grateful because learning this from a stranger would bbe counter effective.

Chinese people hate Japanese people as a whole, not just from WWII. They are not realising that just because Unit 731 scientists were evil, doesn't mean the ENTIRE race of the Japanese were corrupted like that. Blame the WWII governments, not their innocent citizens. The atomic bomb wasn't aimed for the Unit 731 scientists, it was aimed to innocent civilians and that is why Japan was also a victim. Everyone was a victim during the war and every country has a dark past. Peace to the new world.

@goe5 Yes the A-bombs were dropped and killed many innocents in Japan, only to prevent even more casualties. Can you imagine if America were to fight in Japan it self? Many many more lives would be lost because of the stubborness of the japanese. It would be brutal and would take a very long time. The A-bombs were effective, cruel but still effective.

I'm not in any way supporting the A-bomb, but people should know that despite the horrific destruction on the civilians it actually saved a lot of lives. I just wish they would've dropped the bombs over fighting soldiers instead of innocent civilians. I understand you, but I (in some points) disagree with you.

China has plenty of reasons to hate Japan, Unit 731 is just another nail in that coffin.
I believe that Japan now is a different nation and people should forgive them for the sins of their fathers, but only if Japan will acknowledge it and be remorseful for their horrible deeds in the past. Germany has come to terms with the Holocaust, Japan should do so as well.

I think it's absurd that people are more interested in who did what, consumed by moral outrage, than they are in how we can move forward and improve international relations and share our knowledge for the betterment of all humanity. Justice administered by an angry man often lacks the foresight to serve his future well and instead only serves to make him feel better at the time.
