@idontlike101 body package upgrades including wheels tires paint and install start at around $18k but to this level with suspension, supercharger, headers and other performance mods you are in the 30k range on top of the price of the car.
@psich87 this particular car was a six speed, though we found the clutch in the car to give very little accurate feedback, very easy to depress just "vague"
@sergsrt8 we tried to keep true to the original "billboard" graphics from '70 and utilize that shape as the widebody portion of the rear of the car. The "Hemi" just sticks with the classic styling, if a customer does not want it, it does not have to be there. It's a great package you can personalize toy our own tastes.
@Greddybear i want to take back my comment if i insulted you guys i am sry everybody has a diff taste and i think the work put into is great hopefully you guys sell a lot
@mjcs888, yes any hood can be used, we have built a couple of cars with the Mopar hood so far. You can also use our heritage hood without the shaker as well.
@sentrakidsr20 I think a lot of the Old School HEMIs (Challenger and Plymouth - Road Runners) in the 70's had the large HEMI logo on the side. That is probably more of a retro look. The look may not be for everyone. The car is really sweet!!
My problem with this is that it is so far removed from the spirit and style of the original Challenger and what the current Challenger stands for. Frankly, it's absurd.
@OldMrGrace we tried to have more influence from the flares and dramatic plan view shapes of the Trans Am era race cars with a touch of modern drama. It's not for everyone, but the customers we have built them for love the attention and style. They also really love all the extra tire and increased handling of the car.
@srt8hmi we tried to get the styling of the car to be aggressive but the main goal was to get allot of tire under the car. with 10" front and 11.5" rears the car sticks to the ground like glue and you really loose the sense of how heavy the car really is. The handling characteristics change dramatically. It's an amazing car to drive set up like this.
just bought mine shiped in from detroit sepcialized computer cold air intake v8 6 spd only thing i dont like is how to get into reverse its all the way up to the right and 6th gear is all the way down right a lil getn used to awesome muscle car ss" gooodyear f1 tires coust 500 dollas a piece customized catback exoughst lifetime warrrenty bumber to bumber car has over 4500 punds of tork and i thing 460 hp insane
they are basic "mesh" style common on many road racing applications. And for 20x10 front 20x11.5 rears they don't way all that much more than the stockers. The wheels and tires are included in the package price.
...we tried not to go to overboard with the wheel diameter to keep the un-sprung weight down (as much as we could) for the widths we run. The car handles VERY well for its size in this set up.
@tnemiller We have always run Dynatech headers, they sound great, flow great and the welds and chraftsmanship out of the box is like a work of art. Almost a shame to hide them under a car. But I don't think there is anything wrong with Kooks.
Yes the rear decal is the only thing that looks off with the look. Should have taken it all the way arund the back of the car maybe. But it is still very very nice. Excellant job Classic !
@parkanddon well, there are always some compromises to be made, we choose this route for install ease, production/ shipping and found it to be the best way to terminate the "billboard" flare where allot of other elements come together on the back of the car. It is not only a decal, it is the actual flare that gives the wide effect on the rear of the car. In person, the car has a TON of character.
@Cali1030 the rear fenders actually are the "billboard" shape, it gives a bit of a classic touch while keeping the install and man hours down. As far as other wide body kits go, this one is actually rather affordable to install. They start at around 18k.
I love the challenger. They made this car bad ass. The charger on the other hand. Was a poor target for idiots that put big suv chrome wheels

looks like Torretto. some ppl hate but i appreciate

Does anyone know if they make a supercharger for the 2011's or if the 2010 superchargers will fit?

massethree 7 months ago
@massethree they are USW "Mesh" three piece 20x10" front 20x11.5" rears. They are the standard wheel we use on this package.
