I'm led to believe that the Syn Custom is built in South Korea, which is a tiny downside for me even though it's still a pretty awesome guitar. However i doubt that Syn plays a guitar made in South Korea, my guess is all his customs are made in California.

I like that the guitar that Synyster plays really ISNT that same thing. It might be SET UP the same or similar, however, his is ghost built and not really even a Schecter...

i dont get why everyone is bashing so hard on the standard...ive read reviews and talked to people that have the custom and standard guitars and they both say that arent really all that different. Ive even played both myself and havent seen much different other than the etchings on the headstock which say standard and custom

It isn't the EXACT model that SYN plays...In case you haven't noticed, the ones he plays have Fernendes Sustainer System Installed in them.

the custom is EXPENSIVE neck thru or set neck and an ebony fretboard

I'm sure Syn uses a Standard model as well for live and recording... Ermm... The Bat Country Instrumental video, SUMMER SONIC 07 and etc. He changes out the pickups to the SD Custom Invaders.. But the Floyd seems to be a licensed one in that guitar.. But I guess the Standard has a thinner neck... So I guess that's why he used it xD haha

this aint the exact same ones that syn uses...

he uses a sustainer pickup in the neck instead of one of the seymour duncan invaders and his tremolo is a custom floyd rose

There is no black and gold. There is a white and gold. There are four versions of this guitar. This version in the video. The cheaper version. The white and gold version, and the black and red version.

because yours is the 600 dollar "standard" version, i has floyd rose licensed, not original, and lower quality pickups

@HolyGodfather21 even though im assuming somebody already told you this, i will just in case. the the reason yours has black pickups is that you have the schecter synyster standard, but just to let you know i have the custom and my friend has the standard and they both sound pretty much the same so i wouldnt worry bout it too much :)

i personally have a BC rich warlock, (basic one) and it still matches the sounds he plays, just not erectly the same.

Im also looking to get the custom, but if your looking at this guitar just to sound like syn you can't go wrong.
