@MegaChevy65 Our 376600 lockup kit doesn’t need an ECU. It’s a standalone kit that provides torque converter lockup with a switched 12V source. The stock ECU normally regulates this on factory vehicles.
my 700r4 will not lock up until unless i hold it like half throttle and it gains speed. if i let off a little it goes outa lock up and jumps up 300 rpm... why?

I've been searching for something concise for a DIY-er about what a lockup is, why I would want one, and what degree of difficulty I'm getting myself into if I buy one. Excellent video!
@kirk211 We are very glad that this information helped. Thanks for watching! Make sure to take a look at our other videos on our channel, I'm sure you will find them educational as well.
@kirk211 To further answer your question, the lock-up kit isn't too hard to install, just be sure to follow the instructions carefully and you should be fine. Thanks for watching!

@steveandant Check vacuum settings, or make sure you have enough vacuum and that the line is not leaking or pinched.

you say the kit is fully adjustable...how is that? different pressure switches?
stratdude83 2 months ago
@stratdude83 The vacuum switch is adjustable to allow for sooner or later lockup based on throttle response.

I bought the kit that uses a pressure switch that screws on the outside of the accumulator. do you have a vid with any help issues on that system?
