@smith56258 just keep in mind, you get what you pay for. Dont run a cheap amp....i had 3 memphis amps....2 1200 watts, and a 75X4....never got to hook it up to my 2 12inch mtx 9500s...needed money, sold the subs for 75 dollars and the amps for 200...i regret it now..

In the video the sub was making a farting sound, it that flutter? I got two Alpine Type-Rs and on is farting or making a wierd poping sound. It might just be me but if anyone out there reading this knows what i mean, please reply. I went back to where i bought it and they said that everything was fine. so i unno anymore.

Before you do that, compare these to a couple JL Audio W7s. Yes, MTX has a chart that "proves" the 9500 is better, but when I compared the two, I noticed this sub can't play really low bass notes that the W7 can. And, I just can't stress the W7s SQ enough. JLA got into home audio, and they've basically put a 13W7 in a box along with a 2500 watt amp, and low an behold, it's the best-reviewed home sub ever; critics say it sounds better than subs 10x its cost!

And by "SQ" I don't mean "loud."
