  • I like her expression. I also like her courage playing that instrument that is about twice her size. Awesome job Aurora.

  • my ears kinda hear:0

  • You need some more expression on your face. Otherwise, it's great! :) *headdesk* I'm still learning it...

  • @kiwifli4eva haha oh yeah. i never look happy when i'm playing.

  • yo yo yo i like ur bow hand!! my hand alwasy falls for sum reason

  • thanks.

it just takes practice to get the bow hand right. stay aware of it, and when you see it begin to drop, fix it before going on in your practice. it'll become second nature eventually.

  • ok will do

  • Actually i think that you need to work on your bow arm cuz you didnt use as much wrist and dont use your sholder when you bow and PLEASE count!!! Nice vibrato though and great overall tone quality

  • wait sorry i think now that you used enough bow. sorry i didnt watch it all the way through:(

  • @AuroraViolinist Lol. My bow hand cramped in the middle of one of my performances. It hurt really bad, I didn't what to do! Btw, you have very nice posture.

  • @pplsuq Thank you!

Your bow hand cramping probably has something to do with tension. Tell yourself to relax. My violin teacher taught me a relaxation technique that I try to do every night before bed. You lay down and slowly, starting with your feet and working up, you relax every part of your body. Individual fingers and everything. This will help you be able to control which part of your body you relax. I used to have a major problem with my left hand cramping, but this technique has helped.

  • You don't have to look miserable when you're playing the violin D:

    -good job aside the miserable-ness.

  • lol. i assure you i wasn't miserable. i'm pretty sure you're getting that idea because back then, when i played the violin, my bottom lip popped out. it always made it look like i was pouting. i've gotten out of that habit now, though.

    thanks for the comment.

  • a nota do sustenido doói no ouvido ! HAHAHAHAHA mas continue assim, ou melhor, continue melhorando ! ;*

  • wow. your technique is amazing over all but i might suggest loosening up your right wrist. i am a classical violinist and a fiddler, i learned to loosen my wrist and it has helped on fast passages alot because i can use a lighter touch but i can also use a faster bow becuase i am moving mostly my wrist. look up a byron berline video on youtube his boy technique is amazing. and don't rush through the fast notes, give them some length but don't slow down either. keep it up you are doing great

  • nice tone and vibrato :]

it could still be improved, but i thought it was really good ^^

  • i LOVE this song!!! wonderful tone and vibrato!! I'd just say make the notes at the beginning and the end a big more sticcato :)

oh and the chords in the middle i always hated doing lol, they're the devil!! >;) just keep practicing!!! =)

  • exactelly what I tink...=)

  • not bad at all! keep on practicing! (i just finished with this song as well) :)

  • I don't even have the courage to start learning this one. But I have to.

It sounds so good, and you do it very good!! How do you do it? ;)

  • Haha thank you!

    Lots and lots of practice.

Don't worry. It only LOOKS intimidating. Just practice and you'll so fantastic!

  • lol im trying to learn this piece, i had the first page down in a blast... but then i got to the second page and i was dumb struck. haha i thought my teacher was ganna have me go to this song next so i skipped to it and taught myself the first page with youtube videos.. but then i went to lessons and she switched me to the last song in there. the... concerto for two violins. lol. what song are you on now?

  • Oh really? That's awesome! I can't wait to work on that concerto. It SOUNDS AMAZING!

I'm working on the Vivaldi Concerto in A Minor, first movement. It's the one right after the song in this video. Vivaldi has got to be THE master of violin concertos of the Baroque period. I love his stuff.

That's for taking the time to comment!

  • oh yeah i definatly agree with vivaldi being the master of concertos. haha. they are sooo much fun to play. if our in an orchestra you should sugest to your conductor vivaldi's concerto (sinfonia) Alla Rustica. i think they have the song on youtube somewhere just... exstremly fast.. lol its able to be slown down. but yeah... its really fun to play. :]

  • Oh yeah? I'll definately have to remember that. Thanks for the suggestion!

  • np! anytime! :]

  • i just started learning this concerto a couple of weeks ago. the part with the double stops is really difficult! especially when it's fast.

  • Oh yeah. I know. lol. It took me forever to get that part down.

    Thanks for your comment!
